installer shows 11GB for installation and does not create shortcuts of the game in the desktop and in the start menu, it only creates the shortcut to uninstall.

Post #10 I already mentioned the increase in size. Just have to hope that houcine80 redoes the conversion with the fixes.

CRC error is 100% on srep or final compressor.

XTool alone works fine (it installs even with CIU).

You have to find out yourself what is wrong. I don't care anymore sorry.

after installation process does it show the Finish page or the installer closed?
if you see the Finish page then maybe your Records.ini has something wrong.

use my simple installer and see if it works for you or not.

no finish page or anything and my Records.ini seems to be ok. will try with your setup

personal preference is diskspan way over ultrrarc on these big games. Not saying there is anything wrong with UA, but it takes twice the time & space VS diskspan.

Diskspan make archives for a dvd at a time, doesnt split files between dvds & there is the advantage, no need to copy over files, join them together before extracting them. I t just installs going from 1 dvd to the next.

I tested BF5, & it took roughly 15 mins to install from a diskspan created set.
Same UltraArc set took over an hour to install on the same PC.!!!
