My problem:
It attempts to compress the external Freearc tool using the strongest compression. Everything runs normally-compressing and creating an .exe file in bbv2. The .exe file recognizes the setup.bin file, but the installation is already at the very beginning like on screenshots:

With these settings on a smaller file, everything is ok but with one larger .bin file the installation stops in place. What can I do wrong?

Let someone explain how to add an entry in the registry so that the game would work normally even if the user changes the path to the game.
The example installs the game on the C: \ Games \ Prince of Persia Warrior Within disk. Then I export the registry file and add it to the installer.

If the user changes the access path, for example to the D drive Launcher stops working. How do you save it to work on every disk?

Export the Registry key as .reg file, then you can use this converter to convert it to an ISS file (just copy&paste the [Registry] section to your script).

I am having issues with this.

No matter what I do, i cannot make a complete working repack with this. I archive my data files with FreeArc as "Setup-1.bin" or "data.bin" and i get these results.

1. Setup starts, but once it starts installing, it says something along the lines of "cannot use disk 1 with Setup-1.bin please load Setup-1.bin"

2. Setup starts, install seems to work, but then gets bugged and the install time goes up infinitely to hundred and hundreds of hours.


can someone PLEASE help me with this? There are no good videos on this, and all of them have it work for them, but not for me.

I don't even know why I am trying to keep bumping this, as this project is dead anyway and there is absolutely ZERO support other then posts that say "it works for me" from years ago.
Tested on Windows 10 and 8, tested both with .bin and .arc and they just keep failing.
