Another error.

I was spammed with this message and 1 more for more than 10 minutes until I could finally uninstall the game.
I'll see if I can reproduce the issue again and post images of all other errors.

Fabio if i make myself a nother cabs, install works ?EX Data1=launch frearc and select CookedPCConsole folder and Data2 the rest of game .please i need answer

I don't have this error too. Install and uninstall ok. You use the new version 1.2? The previous version 1.1 was buggy.

My cab's have exactly these files.

Data1.cab: DevilGame\CookedPCConsole\*
Data2.cab: All files except Data1.cab

Anyway, you can make your cabs since they have the same names. (Data1.cab: DVD1; Data2.cab: DVD2)

i got the same error when i tried to uninstall the game (runtime error).
but it install and play fine.
the uninstall paste has these files: 7z.com, 7z.dll, 7z.exe, botva2.dll, innocallback.dll, setup.cab, setup.ini, unins000.dat, unins000.exe.
my game has 2 update + all dlc (weapon, costume, vergil and blood palace)

When I try to uninstall the game,it gives me this error.How to fix this ?

I have no idea. Technical issues of CIU 1.0.1.0 i think.
I will update to latest version soon. Currently busy. Maybe in two weeks.

Can You pack the archive into rar or zip? Because my winrar and 7zip file manager cannot extract it :/

Just use the latest version of 7Zip (9.2) or Winrar (4.20). ;)

the conversion works with my game?

should work fine as it uses installed game files + DLC.

The conversion works fine, but it took about 3 hours for compile :(

The time of compression depends of your system.

I had removed some components of the game to reduce its size..
After the conversion i got the following...

DMC_1 = 2.91 GB
DMC_2 = 1.08 GB
TOTAL = 4 GB

I wanted to use this in a single DVD, but the conversion is made in 2 dvds...
how do i use the converted files in just 1 dvd ??

Move the Data2.cab to DVD1 and try install to see if have any issue.

Issue with desktop icon, it creates shortcut to :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\DMC Devil May Cry\Binaries\Win32"

Not "C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\DMC Devil May Cry\Binaries\Win32" like default choice & the start in box for shortcut is wrong as well.

both are missing the Capcom subfolder.

Ok. I reinstall 3 times in different paths. No issues. Anyway, i will update to CIU v2 soon. :D

Only one issue. My game used to work perfectly before, but now since i've converted and reinstalled, it does not want to work anymore. Virgils' Downfall works ok, but the main game keeps crashing when it tries loading the first video.

This has nothing to do with the conversion. Here works perfectly. Main game and all DLCs.
I tested several times. Probably you have missing files.

Download the attachment and check your files.

Instructions:

1. Extract;
2. Put DMC.All.Updates.and.DLCs.sfv in the game folder and open with QuickSFV

I see now. Somehow my lighting and texture files are corrupted. Will redo conversion again and test.

I want to remove video from the installation. What can I do, since the attachmemt didn't have setup.cab?

Not really necessary, just click on Video On button during install, will disabled the video.

I await conversion compatible with windows 8.1.

Updated to v1.4:

- Updated to CIU v2 latest version;
- Rebuilded Splash.png and SmallInstaller.png;
- Changed ProgressImg.png and ProgressBackground.png color (White to red);
- Changed place of Data.cabs to gain space on DVD2;
