With the yesterday script works perfect, install & uninstall without any problem...
But today, i test and some is broken, the game not launch appear the ubisoft launcher, and when i click in PLAY nothing appears, and appear Launcher again.

I test with regedit, and when you uninstall the game using the uninstall from your installer, some entries in registry are delete, some of these reg entries are important for another games...

For example, now my Max Payne 3 same problem... i need to reinstall again the two games from original disk to work.

I think is the UBISOFT\LAUNCHER registry entrie has delete complete with the install process. but i not sure... let me make more checks.

I not have any problem with uninstall all games, because i have a backup of all my saves.

One thing i detected in install, is if i make a custom install and not select any of items, these items install anyway... i dont need these extra programs because i have it (PunkBuster, UbiLauncher, DX,...)

Ok guy's, about "Future Soldier.exe has stopped working" after to much stress, I solved this way:

1. Install from DVD9, install all custom options (Directx, etc). Don't put no-cd!
2. Remove other languages.
3. Install patches (1.1, 1.2) Don't put no-cd!
3. Make the conversion with 3xDVD5 or 2xDVD5.
5. Uninstall the game (DVD9).
4. Install the game from the conversion. Install all custom options!
7. Apply no-cd 1.2
8. Disconnect the internet.
9. Play.

Works for me. This game have to much bug's! Other users have
the same problem even without conversion. You can see in some foruns.
So, i do not guarantee that it will work with everyone.
If many users reporting errors after converting, unfortunately i will delete the conversion because i believe that I can not do anything else and I will not be responsible. Thanks for report! :D

ubisoft game launcher silent install parameters are wrong... here you have the correct ones so there's no need for user interaction on ubisoft game launcher install

As a test uninstall UbisoftGameLauncher, then run a command prompt to redist folder, ubisoftgamelauncher /s /v "/qn" , this installs the game launcher with NO windows showing at all. :)

Successfully convert to 2xDVD 5 (with recompressed BIKS) with DVD1: 4.32 GB, DVD 2: 2.1 GB

Edit: After several trial and error which I don't know the reason is, the game runs perfectly in Win 7 x64 SP1 (I included update 1.1 preinstalled), after that I install update 1.2 and 1.3 manually :D

nothing to do with biks. you uninstalled original game, make sure to reinstall required pre-requisites for the game.

try reading thru whole topic, there is a reg fix post #29, that will then allow you to update your game. Then update your conversion files ( setup.ini etc) with the latest version posted.

Edit: Success installation after separating update 1.2 and 1.3 from conversion

After installing the game launcher game do not make any update error code 2 is a small window right click and he closed.

Then I installed the update and crack v1.2 and v1.3 is now done

which gives an error.

thanks for the update to 1.4, forgot all about it, until I had to recover damaged HD, and the update showed up in recovered files!! Time to get it converted & off the HD once & for all.

tested 2xDVD5 on win 7 64 bit.
A very god work, quick and easy to make; the custom installation layout is better than original!!

Hey Fabioddq your work is damm good, i loved your conversion but i have a error on installing a patchv1.4 it say this setup is not compatible with this version i have once uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but error remains the same, i have shared your custom installer setup with friends & they have the same issue, i have searched in google but can't fixed it don't know whether a registry issue or any thing else any suggestions :(

did you re-download the latest version, from post #1?

It's been updated to allow patch v1.4 to be installed.

you wont have to re-do whole conversion, just replace setup* files.

nope nothing happened, my issue is every time the new patch get release, i have to download the latest version from the post their is no other way to make the setup at one because i have already make backup on the dvd's and when the next patch release my dvd's get wasted & my budget for this game gone high:eek:

The conversion works great for me, i installed patch 1.4 from my conversion and re-compile the conversion again. Works great! I tested several times! But try this regfix:

Download regFix, extract in your game installation folder and run. Click in Ok.
After try to install the patch. If not work, install the game from your original files and install all patches then make the conversion. :D

Sorry, I'm testing on version 2 DVD5 and everything is fine.. except that at the end of the installation (either default or custom) anything is installed from the Support folder (in the DVD2). What am I doing wrong?:confused:

I tested and works normal. Make sure if your paths and names in support folder are correct of according Setup.ini.
