great job swoosh3k. :p :p
i register my nick to the forum only to applaud U.

Ok, let's come back playing FM2006............ :D

franksmule 21-10-2005 14:40

If you have the ORIGINAL FM 2006 disk make a image (mdf not iso/bin) with alcohol 120% newest version.
A full image as already said mini images dont work. It will take a while and will produce a ton of error messages within the first 100,000 sectors. After thats done mount the image and do the win nt thing as previously said.

Anti-blaxx or hide virtual cd isnt required aslong as you have newest version of deamon tools and alochol

The technique I posted is for those who have a CD image of the game and have installed it but can't play it due to the fact the game requires the CD to be in the drive.
If you have the original game CD the purpose of the what I posted won't help you play without the CD. This is only until a mini image is released

You need a CD image of FM06 to play to the game if you don't have an original copy of the game for the time being.

If you do have an original copy wait for a mini image or get (download) a full image so you don't need the CD anymore.
What you are doing here is promoting the use of warez!!! A big NO NO here!

Thanks mate legend :D

manul 22-10-2005 03:07

I used mini image to play FM2005(5.05)
At that time i updated the D-tools.
And i also have the latest Alcohol 120%.
i heard many people uses antiblax to play this game?
i haven't heard of it. Is it better than D-tools or Alcohol?
Or just because it hasn't on the blacklist of those games giants?

Bolsen 22-10-2005 04:57

It dosnt work!! Can someone plis help? with where 2 find programs, 2 how to get the game to start...tnx

manul 22-10-2005 06:52

seemed my antiblax doesn't work too
My OS is still win2k
what's wrong?

manul 22-10-2005 07:50

i've download the game two hours age and i have tried three ways to run the game(a: change the compatibilty B: use antiblax C: virtualDriverhide). But unfortunately they all dont work. I dont know why. Maybe it because my OS is win2000 (SP3).
So the last thing i could do is to suspend my real diver. and that works.
God bless!
Hope this could help some people just like me. And i feel sorry for those who have to suspend more than drivers.

Antiblax seems to have the same function, but to tell you the truth i'm not clear about how to set it properly.

manul 22-10-2005 07:54

BTW, you'd better re-install the game. Not really install, but take the "repair" option.

He means your supporting warez issues with that statement..

We dont support warez here, so telling people they need an image if they dont have an original, is a warez issue.

ArsenalFc 22-10-2005 11:38

Hmm is anyone having this issue too?:

Using XP Pro and I made an image file in alcohol 120% of my disc and then burnt that to CD, using alcohol again. When I use the backup disc it comes up with "please reinsert the disc press ok and try again". I do and the same thing happens. So I got a copy of Daemon Tools, mounted my image file, same thing. Changing compatibility means about 6/7 minutes after running fm.exe I get a "Not Resonding" reoprt on the game. Any ideas how I can play it without having to ever take the original disc out of it's box again?

You wont need virtual CD hide software, just apply the steps as swoosh3k explained. It is working and I can play at the moment. Thanks swoosh :)

Thank for your help!

Infest 22-10-2005 18:00

Ok chaps advice needed. I got FM2006 working without my cd by doing this:

Install the game
Go into the game folder (where you installed he game e.g D:Program FilesSports InteractiveFootball Manager 2006) and find the file fm.exe
Right click fm.exe and choose properties
Click on the tab that says compatibility
Tick the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for
Choose NT 4 (service pack 5)
Apply
Make sure that the image is loaded on Alcohol or Dameon Tools

HOWEVER i quit the game and came back later to continue playing but it will no longer let me run the game. I double-click and it drives for a bit then nothing, no error message no nothing. I tried unmounting and remounting, i've even ran the repair but so far zippo.

Can anyone help?

Football Manager 2006 - Mac Crack Required

Hello,

Can anyone provide guidance for a no-cd fix of Football Manager 2006 for aMac?

Appreciate the support and guidance in advance.

Thanks AKVAG

martillox 23-10-2005 10:06

the game works fine for me with the antiblaxx and d-tools, you just have to configure antiblaxx properly, and there is no need to both be running at any time, the game will work anyways

otherwise, it would be better if a mini image is released

I tryed this and it works. The problem is that i get kicked out (RANDOMLY!!) from the game saying that he dosn't have Virtual Memory. This is crap...i have lot's of space...lot's of RAM.

Anti-Blaxx dosn't work on me. I tryed, i reinstalled Daemon, Alcohol...everything, it just dosn't work.

martillox 23-10-2005 11:07

sorry, antiblaxx do need to be running
take a look at the settings

I can run the game winout Anti-Blaxx if i set combatibility to Win NT. But the game kick's me out saying "Football Manager 2006 is out of memory. Please quit and free up" (or something like that). I click ok...then the game quits.

With Anti-Blaxx i have set the game directory to FM.exe, protection : SafeDisc.

Also I clicked Mount Image in Device 0. Also tryed with DTools and alcohol. Dosn't want to start.

ArsenalFc 23-10-2005 12:17

OK I've now got it going to. Here is a complete list of my exact actions after maknig my mds and mdf files.

Install daemon tools, then exit it. DO NOT LEAVE IT RUNNING.
Using Antiblaxx, enter the path to the fm.exe game and the .mds image file.
Set the security option in Antiblaxx to SECUROM 5
Minimise antiblaxx again.
Now with Daemon tools NOT running and Antiblaxx in the taskbar, right cick the antiblaxx icon, select the one at the top of the list and open the profile you've just named (default: gamename)
Double click the fm2006 shortcut on your desktop. It should produce the error "Football Manager 2006 is already running!"
Click ok on that to close the error message box.
Wait a minute. Game loads.

This has just loaded it for the first time for me. The problem I had was leaving Daemon Tools running!

d3molisher 23-10-2005 12:22

Same problem as swoosh3k

I have exactly the same problem as "swoosh3k"! I do actually have the orginal but I just want to create a backup for my other computer. I have tried nero 7, cdclone within different modes, cd game protection mode and cd game mode as well. The disc is fine its an exact copy! however I can install the game from the backup disc fine and I can run the editor, but when it comes to me actually playing the game once the installation is complete it asks me to insert the disk, and the back up disk is already in, and then tried it with the orginal disc and it works fine. Its doing my nut in because I installed the data from the back up CD, lol. I have done the obvious and search google etc.. and there is nothing the only hope I have is this forum! Seems people are having the same problem as me. I have wasted about 10 cd's trying it all kind of ways and it just doesnt work. I also took someones advice about the alchohol prog and then changing the compatablity and it still doesnt work. If anyone has any idea's it would be much appreicated! Thanks Dan

scottysohotty83 23-10-2005 12:45

right i sorted it im playing fm 2006 at last i aint gonna play it until i get the patch but si games crashes when i try to download it does any one already have the 6.0.1 patch they can send to me please scottysohotty83********co.uk thanx

d3molisher 23-10-2005 12:51

Arsenalfc Is The King!!!!

oh yea!!! its works its alive!!!! nice 1 lads I got it to work using deomon tools and taking arsenal FC's advice!!! man I was doing this for about 2 hours and I did it! nice 1` Im going for a ciggi.

scottysohotty83 23-10-2005 12:55

come on some one splease i really need this 6.0.1 patch

ArsenalFc 23-10-2005 12:55

It would seem the common mistake would be leaving Daemon Tools running and/or not loading the "profile" thingy before running. Frankly I dunno which, thats just all I specified that others didnt. I reckon it's that Antiblaxx has to run daemon tools itself so as to mask the fact theres a virtual drive installed. Then again maybe running the profile executes the settings for the game. Who knows, moral is do both!

Scotty, have you tried googling for it? Someone must have it on a mirror somewhere!

scottysohotty83 23-10-2005 13:01

yeah i tried google no luck the si games sight dl page is down so im fooked atm. up the spurs

-PET- 23-10-2005 13:03

i tryed everything...still dosn't want to work. I'm reinstalling WinXP SP2 tomorow...it's messy anyway...
