I dont know about you, but my carbon version doesnt work :( How did you managed to start it?!

Noone of the serials that are included in the clone carbon patch worked for me... :( Any ideas on what's going on? :confused:

"Carbon" is a team of crackers, just like Reloaded or Hoodlum.
They found a method to bypass SF3 =)
They made a version of Cossacks II that works for me (:p)

Carbon won't work with my discs. Only with their warez version.
So it will get on the ban list.

First don't patch to 11, the crack wont work if you do.

It worked for me! :D However, it only worked when I mounted the image using Alcohol itself (it didn't work with daemon tools). I also tried the game patch 1.1, but it didn't work, even doing all the starforce cracking stuff. Well, good luck to the people who are still having difficulties, I'm going to enjoy the gme now! :cool:

Deamon tools works fine, you just have to make sure you change the names of the 2 dll on Deamon install. If you leave them as they are they will be blacklisted by SF.

Which 2 DLL's are those, pray tell?

Re-install Deamon and you will get the option to change the 2 files in question to any name you like, thus SF cant blacklist it because it looks for the defult name of the said files.

that is right, starforcenightmare/****er is not the solution.
It might be, but only if u have a version it is included in, but than you would have found a manual there ( you need speciallt created ISO's etc)

i found a crack of emule which actually works but it cant save game.dunno how to solve that!!!

that's true. the patch included in this release just patches the starforce 3 driver to an old version, i think. a version which doesn't re-enable ide drives after having them disabled by starforce nightmare. the copy protection from the game as is doesn't recognize that and therefore it is able to run the game properly.

and thanks for the tip with the 2 dll's or the scsi bus driver name from alcohol. seems that is the problem in making tm sunrise work, too.

I'm using the german version of Cossacks 2.
The USB solution works (backup with alcohol, RMPS, IDE shut off with Starf***)

Is there a way to create a miniimage?

USB Method:

1) Download new Alcohol 120%
2) remove existing SF protection

3) Copy original CD with the datatype "Starforce 1/2/3" and the option "burn rmps to recordable media" with slow speed (1x)
4) active "RMPS" in the options menu in alcohol
5) get via emule

there are two files, first use sfdrvup.exe which causes an error, is ok
second use sfdrvpatch.exe and patch file
6) start game, game asks to reboot, do so
7) download StarF*ck from http://www.project-star****.tk/ and disable CD and disable "Node"
8) connect an external USB drive to your PC, insert disc2 and play

i don't have any external USB drives :( and what does it do anyway ?

i can't believe this, the game came out 3 weeks ago and there is no crack yet we have to resort to some ****ty methods that only work for like 2% of people who try it

I was not able to build a mds file with my original CD that works :mad:

I got this running no problem using the Carbon method, but there are strange goings on. In campign mode I am the English but Im fighting the English, now have I missed something in my history lessons or is this fade protection?

I just burned CD 2 of the clone Carbon release with latest alcohol software and can play the game now with my external USB 2.0 DVD/RW drive.
No problems ! Fine ! :D

ya it mine works with a virtual drive but i deleted the iso image so i just want to find a crack anyway thx guys ill just keep checkin back

Can you use a burned cd if you only have a IDE dvd rom?
