The original DVD is broken mate, also GCW can never be legal esp when they link to warez sites etc..

You will find the infomation I requested is nothing but registry data that is not related to warez at all in any way,. Now I should have said I didn't want the cdkey as I have my own ok.

If your original DVD is broken, contact the game publisher for another copy, at a reduced cost.

Registry data can be collected by (re)installing the game; you don't need our help for that. (Provided that you have the original CD/DVD, that is.) No-CD patches, on the other hand, don't grow on trees, that's why GCW hosts them.

Other people, who talk about warezed copies of games, will (also) be banned.

You don't have to _agree_ with the forum rules - yes, they _are_ strict! -, you "only" have to adhere to them. If you don't like them, well, you might be banned soon anyway... ;) Also, no one cares about whether you like the forum rules or not. Those people who A) host this forum and/or B) answer questions are doing all this free of charge, therefore, you cannot _expect_ anything on this forum; rather, be grateful, if you _do_ get some help.

I wanted to play the game now not in 2 weeks & $20 or more later.

hello everyone, i dont know if this post is still active, but i have a doubt, i try all the methods you posted, but i still can't play. my question :

I have de German Version, but after all the things that i have to do, the game tell me that there's no disk. That means that star****, is not working properly, (and my devices disapears), because the game still ask me for a CD/DVD. But my question is that i have a S-ATA (Serial ATA) hard drive, and 3 optical devices (two in the first IDE and one in the second), the procedure is the same???? I heard too that AMD procesors have problems with the star**** aplications, is that true??? I ask because i have an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Procesor and i can't running this game and no matter the way i tried. Please if someone can help me i really preciated.

remove CDrom's from IDE one and use starf*** 0.83 make sure you use german mini image and mini image adapted serial not original serial from your game box.

Hi Folks, !st of all thanks for all the info, I got the game working using a mini image. The one big problem is that after I configured my controls and want to continue, some popup appears with error 12 and the file frontend\Loading.big.
Does anyone have this ?? I'm using win2k without any service pack but I really can't believe that might be the problem ...

i have so this game works on my machine

1. install demontools 3.47
2. game installation completely and install updatepatch 1.2
3. make backup of your original rd2.exe. than with the cracked rd2.exe (TOCA/DTM Race Driver 2 v1.0 [MULTI] Fixed EXE) from NCRYSO (4.3MB) reseting the Drivers and restart your machine
4. after restart start cracked rd2.exe and klick on "start" to reload the drivers, and restart machine again
5. after restart run starf***k to deactivate the drives
6. then in demontools create a virtual drive and mount the image (DTM Race Driver 2 v1.2 [GERMAN] No-DVD/Fixed Image #1) from gamecopyworld @ 15.10.04 (97KB) (not the #2 image)
7. !!! now start the game with the original rd2.exe . the cracked rd2.exe will not longer required

so, if after restart of your machine this game doesn´t works, you must in demontools unmount the image and disable the drives. than activate and deactivate again in starf***k all drives. after it once again create virtual drive and mount image. you must in demontools -> "set the device paramaters" set a drive letter

isn´t necessary any other/special serial, you can use the serial from original game. they is the same on every gamecover


this is no fake/joke, i have tested for hours on my machine and friends with updateversion 1.2 and it works perfectly

also ich habs bei mir so zum laufen bekommen:

1. demontools vor dem spiel installieren
2. spiel vollständig installieren und den updatepatch 1.2

5. danach nochmal die exe ausführen und auf start klicken un dann neustarten

7. mit star**** die laufwerke deaktivieren
8. dann erst in demontools das image emulieren (DTM Race Driver 2 v1.2 [GERMAN] No-DVD/Fixed Image #1) von gamecopyworld @ 15.10.04 (97KB) (nciht das #2 image)
9. spiel mit der originalen rd2.exe starten

diese andere seriennummer braucht man also doch nicht, geht mit der originalen auch.
getestet wurde es mit dem update 1.2, andere updates bzw. original 1.0 habe ich nicht probiert.

!!! nach einem rechner neustart kann es sein das das spiel nicht mehr geht, dann muss man in demontools das image unmounten und das virtuelle laufwerk deaktivieren.
danach mit star**** die anderen laufwerke wieder aktivieren und danach wieder deaktivieren.
dann mit demontools wieder ein laufwerk erstellen und das image neu mounten. du musst aber noch bei "set device parameters" einen laufwerksbuchstaben einstellen eventuell, falls das virtuelle laufwerk nicht erkannt wird.
jetzt kann man Race Driver 2 wieder spielen.

I have read every post in this thread and I still don't know what to do.
Okay....I cannot figure out how to get this NCRYSO crack to work. I have read and understand the .nfo, but it is not working as it says. Basically the crack does nothing. The instructions say to run "RESET DRIVES" if starforce protection complains about it's drivers. My first try I just hit start game asuming that if i needed to reset the drives i would get an error about some starforce drivers as it says. .......nothing happened. Below "Bootlog" it says

that is all tha happens. The quick exit does nothing and neither does clicking the X or minimuze button. The only way to get rid of it is "alt-f4". Ok so I tried again....same thing. The next time I decided that although it said to hit "RESET DRIVERS" if I got a complaint, which i didn't, I decided to run it anyways. I get a message that says to reboot my computer, hit start game, and then reboot again. So I rebooted, hit start game and guess what.....NOTHING HAPPENED!!! I d/l starclean from gamecopyworld and clicked it....got another reboot message so i did. I also d/l starf****r from gcw and it was in german so it didn't do much good either. I just now hit start game while taking a pause in my typing and guess what.........NOTHING HAPPENED! The .NFO says

- unpack the archive, burn or mount the DVD image
- install the game choosing full installation
- put the RD2.exe located in \NCRYSO folder on the DVD into your
gamedir, replacing the old one
- start the game and play! (*)

When asked for a serial enter:

-The archive IS unpacked and it is mounted as a DVD image (via alcohol 120%)
-The game IS installed choosing full installation
-I DID put the RD2.exe located in the \NCRYSO folder on the DVD into the game directoy replacing the old on
-I TRIED to start the game but guess what..........NOTHING HAPPENED

and btw
-I DO have daemon tools installed and a virtual drive IS accessible.

If i simply need to wait for more than an hour with my computer idle for the stupid crack to do anything then by all means call me an impatient dumbass and disregard everything mentioned. But, if you can find it in you to explain the solution in and easy to understand manor please do. Thank you in advance for anyone willing to do so.

You have downloaded the game! You have not read the forum rules! You 'will' be banned from these forums! And you 'wont' get any help from here!
Go and purchase a legal version of the game! Then it 'will' work!

Why do we have to follow a millions steps and disable IDE drives to get this thing to work properly withot a DVD/CD in the drive?

Why can't somebody make a simple fixed exe that does the job?
