Hi REVO, I have moved Support folder to DVD1 and changed In Setup.ini the following:

to

I memored this from you ( You mentioned this before ..I don't remember in which post you did it)However the size of DVD1 increased to 4,49 GB and have error during PunkBuster installation .

Yeah, it was Batman Arhkam City conversion, i told that redist is not working properly in last DVD.

I'm compiling the conversion now, will update the thread in 30 minutes appro.

UPDATE: It seems i have to do it tomorrow (6 hours later that's how many hours i sleep) Sorry for inconvience, until then, sarmadi, you can change slice's sizes to: 1480000000 and put everything in dvd1/support

Correct switches are:

change switches for PunkBuster.

LaunchArg4=/i --no-display --i-accept-the-pb-eula

I tested conversion with Support folder in DVD1, and unfortunately, with Support it will not fit in 3 DVD5, and you have to burn 4th dvd for 150mb which is stupid.

So, you have to install Support contents manually, there's no other solution, sorry.

REV0 your conversion is still AC3_3DVD5_BASE_PACK_V101.rar not v1.10 are you alr update it or just forget to rename it ? and once more. Can i use future update on this conversion or still trial and error for registry update ? thanks before

If you made conversion from V1.01 version iss file, i recommend to download V1.20 of basepack and use it's setup.ini. You dont have to re-compile, just overwrite it on current one, so redist can be installed correctly.

Apart from this, there's no difference on conversion. I fixed redist, and i already added V1.01 of regkeys (the ones which came with v1.01 update)

As futureproofness of conversion. If you burn the game as V1.01, you will have to update the game if Ubisoft updates it.

Normally, i'm planning to update iss file, each time Ubisoft update the game. That's why it's separate.

ok. mais uma pergunta, tem como fazer a conversao sem a necessidade de instalar o jogo? como aconte com outros jogos movendo os arquivos cab e editando alguns outros arquivos de instalação? pois gostaria de fazer dessa maneira e nao ter que instalar o jogo primeiro.

okay. one more question, is how to make the conversion without the need to install the game? As with other games hap moving the cab files and editing some other setup files? I would make it this way and not have to install the game first.

Download the newer one and use it's setup.ini, also overwrite the font below. More than this, everything is same, you dont have to recompile the damn game again :D

Depends the game. Most of the games need to be installed before splitting them, aka INNO Setup way. Splitting cabs are almost impossible now because they're using new version of IS. AC3 was an exception.

Hi revo just a quick heads up the setup.ini uplay is pointing to the wrg folder it should be pointing to \Support\GameLauncher.

i gave ur script another go just to test.it still does not pick up the game as updated to 1.01 is still says version can be found if i try to reapply the update but if i used my reg that i posted earlier in the script it picks up the update by saying this version is already installed.

Regs are same my friend, open iss and compare with yours. And i updated the thread about uplay stuff,
