Had the same problem but in my case was coz I have the spanish version of the game and the icon name is MW3.ico instead icon.ico so I changed a couple of lines on the converter files and got it working

what the meaning of locate the DVD files?
i dont understand on that converter.

means select where your DVD is lol

I know this seems like a stupid question, but how do i get the background music to play. It shows it's on by the button, but nothing plays and i dont even see the programming for the music in any of the config files.

Also in my add and remove programs it is showing up as "Cities XL 2012" and not as "Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare 3" or whatever it's supposed to be.

you gotta tell me which version you downloaded, however whatever version it is background works either way.

You may see Cities Xl, the fact i took cities' setup exe, because source one didn't work, i sent a message to yener, if i cant a solution i'll think something else

Tested in Win7 32Bits.

I downloaded the launcher v1.2. Is there supposed to be some code in the setup.ini file & if so then what should the line be.

Well finished testing my custom thing for spanish version of the game and found a couple of errors, that seems to come from base version, maybe i'm wrong, but why not check it just in case...
Some files are missing from lang folder (english or spanish) that part I just changed paths and kept the filenames...
the files are:
mp_bootleg_load.ff
patch_prague_escape.ff
payback.ff
so_timetrial_london.ff
sp_payback.ff

I added to my custom edit now and generating all again, checking also the citiesxl thing now and also checking the reason of why "label" field is not showing up on each image file, atleast on my end and going to remove the music button since I don't like it and it's not working

what if we use the reloaded version? locate the DVD menu is always a problem here.

its been updated since V1.0 now at 1.3... also mentioned 7 posts up, if you read thru whole thread before posting
