For those having difficulties installing, this was very straightforward, replace the .exe with what you find in the rar file. I can only assume people are either stumped on extracting the files (www.winrar.com to solve that problem). Then extract the files to the directory where Zoo Tycoon is installed (if you need help to do this then do some google searches on locating files with your operating system). Finally this is for Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection, you will have problems with anything that is not ZT2: UC

I've been trying to download the file fix for play without cd (I lost it) but the information is that the file will take several hours to load that's not normal because it's a small file. Do you have any idea what's the problem?

Look if the file is on www.gamecopyworld.com, maybe you dont have problems there.

please help ! I am not a computer wiz, and I am trying to decode your file lingo in a hurry to download this game. Ive downloaded the file and opened it in winzip. After that part I am clueless to making backups and missing strings. Could somebody explain the correct process in lamens terms please ?? Thank You !!!

i need to know were to find the ZT.exe file that im suposed to replace with the one you had me download i know some about computers and tried what i could but aparently its invisible to me if u could just tell me were to find it it would be a big help. Thanks:)

Rightclick on the desktop icon or start menu entry and look under properties.
Here you should see the path.

My game is not working :mad: I bought it from amazon.com (didnt work) and got a replacement for it and that does not work. I had this before1-4 zt2 for my xp(love it) now I have a Vista computer and found zt2 ultimate collection is for Vista , but I be darn I can get this game to work, it load ok but does not come on I called microsoft replacement and they are suppose to send me a replacement disc, the # is 1800 360-7561 . anybody else got any idea how to make this game work ? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I have Zt2 ultimate collection and it did not work on my pc , I called microsoft for help.-1-800-microsoft, they help for free for zt2 ultimate collection, but they did not solve my problem but found out that my computer was crashing for all sorts of reasons, He suggested that i do a system recovery on my computer, this WORKED, I installed the game again and it work, I suggest that u do a back up file first before you begin....GOOD LUCK ps get help with this if you dont know how to do this.

mine just saves it as a rar or a 7z file what do i do :confused:
