Mirror's Edge DVD9-1DVD5 conversion (1 Language or all )
1- Make folder 'Mirror's Edge' 2- Copy DVD9 content to 'Mirror's Edge' 3- From 'Mirror's Edge': remove 'DirectX' folder 4- Extract & overwrite all content of Attachment 794 to 'Mirror's Edge' 5- Install the game from DVD9 6- From game's folder: ** remove from 'TdGame\CookedPC' 'Startup_*.upk' & 'Ts_LOC_*.upk' the others localization files ( ex: for english keep only 'Startup_int.upk' & 'Ts_LOC_int.upk') ( ex: for italian keep only 'Startup_ITA.upk' & 'Ts_LOC_ITA.upk') remove 'binaries' & 'support' folders remove 'TDgame\movies' folder remove from game's root folder: MirrorsEdge-MCE MirrorsEdge-MCE.png MirrorsEdge-MCE.xml ME_Icon.ico GDFBinary.dll ** remove all folders from 'engine\localization' & 'TDgame\localization' except your language folder (ex: for english keep INT folder) ** remove all folders from 'TdGame\CookedPC\Audio' except your language folder and 'int' folder Make path 'temp\TdGame\CookedPC' & move folder 'maps' from TdGame\CookedPC to it 7- Now we're ready to use Freearc Freearc.org Start freearc ,and start compression Attachment 798 Attachment 800 8- Move 'ME_1.exe' & 'ME_2.exe' to 'Mirror's Edge' 9- Burn or make iso with label 'Mirror's Edge' For all languages skip steps with ** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Begin of installation screenshot Attachment 797 In the middle of installation screenshots (MSI CustomAction calls executables ME_1.exe & ME_2.exe) Attachment 795 Attachment 796 End of installation screenshot (without errors) Attachment 799 |

that 1dvd5 conversion sure was difficult...but yes it works
i prefer dvd9 to 2xdvd5, because it is simple and works perfectly without error at all at winxp sp3 THANK YOU! |
