If Microsoft releases the SP3, they might see how many people are buying Vista.
With the lifespan announced for only 3 years(they've announced the intent to release a new system in 2009), Vista won't make too many fans.
So we might be in 2009 on the same old XP:P

Oh, damn right, sir, you always gotta skip one or two Micro$oft operating systems (operating system versions? releases? upgrades?) to keep your sanity! :D (I went from MS-DOS 5.0 to Windows 98 then to Windows XP, with no fooling around between these...)

I'd say the operating systems released by Microsoft are divided in three categories: alpha, beta and bugfixes:D

Gears of War Title Update
 

Hey guys, I updated Gears of War with the latest "title update" that was released, and applied the latest NO-CD crack that Battery released (bat-gow1.rar), the game loads up just fine but it won't let me access the Guide or open the Profile list by clicking on it's tab or pressing F1 (Home button doesn't work anymore either). It also appears to have broken the game's menu, sometimes you can't press back or escape to return to the previous menu, other times the sound in the main menu completly stops...etc

I was just wondering if that's the case with everyone which means that this crack should be nuked, or is it just me?

First check the original DVD and patch work first, if they do it could be the crack!

already did, the original works fine, even before i applied the title update. However i need the NO-DVD crack because it's alot less troublesome.

yes i have been having troubles with the new 1.1 gears of war crack too.
for me it doesn't even start the game anymore.
hopefully someone will crack it properly next time/ hopefully there is a fix soon!!!

okey guys i need some help i install the game copy the crack and everything, but when the games execute its stay in the software update screen and thats is it i hjace left it over 10 m and bnothing any ideas?

Maybe, it's running an auto-update from its home server but it cannot access the Internet because of your firewall settings? More information, please! Also, try it without a crack first.

the problem is than it never ask for permision to access the internet now im going to run it with out the crack(but gonna take a while cause i have to reinstall it) aspecs of my machine (ati 9800, 768 ram, athlon 2500+, xp service pack 2, 1.83 ghz, these are also the minimun required)

also the game is the spanish version

it aint original so it wont work for you, its gonna ask you to insert cd

becase if i bought the game it would cost 1/3 of my father salary to put it simple (yes i live in a 3 world country)
