I used the noCD patch from http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ and it works just fine. I don’t even unplug drives or run any additional software.

Just wanted to say, thanks to anyone who is spending the time reading this.

Ok, I have read nearly every thread on this site on how to crack SW BattleFront 2. I have SW BattleFront 2 "ON CD". I have tried most of the suggested programs. No success. Deleted them, reinstalled them. Still the same. I believe that all I need is a no "cd" crack, just not a "dvd" crack. I have found many no-"dvd" cracks(& mini images), and tried them. None work. I have also tried all the following programs with no success: daemon v.4.00, SR7.Stop_1 , virtual-cd-hide, AntiBlah, Anti-Blaxx, and Alcohol 120%(Although, all programs seemed to have worked.) I have tried all of them a myriad of times and each time it will start loading, then my cursor will change to a spinning cd, wait for a few seconds, and then I will receive a message that states, "Please insert the original disc instead of a backup."

If anyone knows how to fix this, or where a no-cd crack can be found, I would be very happy if I was informed. If you do happen to know where a crack is, post a Url. I have read where many people have had success, so it wouldn't supprise me if it was just my pc. Thanks again for bearing with me!

(P.S. I use alcohol 120% a bit, so I am not a total noob. Thanks)

I believe 'FlipWillie' is actually looking for a proper 'NoCD.exe' and there is not one of those available yet.
Presently GameCopyWorld only lists 'Mini Images' and I believe FlipWillie has said he has already tried them all with no success.

Yes I would say it is a problem with your PC as one of the mentioned suggestions should work on your PC. Granted the same method doesnt seem to work for everyone!

OK then. Do you think that I should just wait for a no "cd" crack, or do you believe that if all the virtual drive hiders are not working now, that another crack won't help? I normally do not have trouble cracking games. I have about 40 games on my pc and basically all of them are cracked, or I just use alcohol images. Also, all the anti-secuRom 7 programs I used appeared to be working, so I don't know why it can still detect my virtual-drive. I have unistalled all the programs atleast once, and on one occasion I went through the regristry and deleted all values pertaining to alcohol 120% (Do not know if that was wise). Reinstalled it but to no avail (Still detected my drive). So I am basically asking:

-- Should I wait for a crack specifically for the "cd" version of BattleFront 2?

Yea there are plenty of no "dvd" cracks.(or atleast mini images). Just go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ and look under Star Wars BattleFront 2. I believe there are currently four cracks.

I am trying to locate a no "cd" crack(or mini Image). If you know where one is, I would like to know where. Thanks.

P.S. I don't know if there is a huge difference between a crack and a mini image, but all I need is one for the cd version of SW battleFront 2. (Atleast that is what I think ) :•)

They dont work for me either. Could be because I can only find dvd mini images.

I played it two times!!! And up to yesterday there I recieve a message
`please insert the original dvd!!!! :mad:

I have never had much success with anti Blah, (none actually) but I believe you might have to re-run it on every boot.
And I think that you are supposed to use the _off bat. before shuting down. I am not sure about any of that though,
but it can't hurt to try. (You may have already done that.) Also, I am no expert, just trying to lend a hand.

Also, I have read that one version of secuROM 7 checks you at certain points through a game and
continually degrades gameplay until it doens't function properly any more. You can read about it
at "Game Burn World" under cd protection(I am not sure if that site is banned on this website, sorry if so.)


(I can't get it work without the cd at all, so you have done better than me!)

I've got alcohol and daemon tools mounting my images, but I need a 64-bit version of antiblah or a similar set of bat files. Anybody have any leads? Much appreciated.

Read the FAQ on how to use other emulator hider softwares that do support 64-bit Windows. (You're a bit too early with switching the operating system...)
