yeah I can't get this game to run neither, how do I make my own image?

TippeX 12-09-2005 12:18

does it work with your original disk?

f575gtc 12-09-2005 12:36

yes but the game is my brother's and he wants the cd so I need to get it to run without a cd on my pc.

i get to the point where it says cd can not be authenticated

TippeX 12-09-2005 12:49

sounds like a bad image then, also dont wanna sound like im preaching but you'll find (/me waits for grumpy) that playing a backup and giving ur brother the original is a breach of the eula.. which is illegal

the cannot authenticate disk is definately a bad image, did you make it properly? with rmps etc on like some people detailed earlier

Had all of the above problems this will work 100%.
Uninstall motogp3
Mount CD image (not the mini image) with Alcohol120 trial 195 3105
Install motogp3 with the mounted CD image.
Install Anti-Blaxx v1.16 ,Copy & paste the HAANDI exe to the Anti-Blaxx C:program folder.
Start Anti-Blaxx, right click the Anti-Blaxx tool bar icon, choose settings, in general settings Browse to C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\Alcohol.exe, tick restore:after the game exits & tick method:delete entrys more dangerous, choose first game. in moto gp3 settings, protection:securom 7, game: Browse to C:\Program Files\THQ\MotoGP URT 3\motogp.exe, type game name, tick mount image, tick use alcohol 120%, device:0, image: Browse to Your moto gp3 image file.
click on close.
Right click the Anti-Blaxx tool bar icon & choose run game.

I got it running

DABhand 12-09-2005 15:23

Its illegal because when he installed the game, it states one copy per 1 machine.

For you to play also, you must purchase your own copy.

Its silly I know, but thats the law.

f575gtc 12-09-2005 17:05

what if you buy a copy and want it on your desktop and laptop, they are both your computers.

TippeX 12-09-2005 23:43

you still need one copy per machine, really u cant split hairs about it, its the law, thats how it works... doesnt matter if u got 10 machines, at best you're only legally allowed to run it on one of them at any one time

If you're using the original to run it on desktop/notebook(as intended), you can only run it on one machine at a time anyway.

It's the same as using a music CD in the car, or in the home music system etc.

Ok, after trying everything and getting all the above errors finally got the game to work.

1) Make sure antiblaxx is not running
2) Mount the original (not the mini) image in dameon tools
3) Run Virtual-CD Hide and hide all your virtual drives

Run the game, works without a problem :)

f575gtc 13-09-2005 11:15

why is it that when I try running gamespy and playing online it says launching game and then says a required secuirity module coould not be acivated?

MotoGP 3 - Ultimate Racing Technology

@ ocukscooby:

I've mounted a FULL-IMAGE of my CD in "Daemon Tools 3.47". Then I have hidden all Virtual Drives using "Virtual-CD Hide 1.0.0.4", but the game still won't start. The program tells me (after starting the launcher): "A required security module can not be started!"
So what can I do???

I don't have this "antiblaxx" you've mentioned, don't know this program.

Please help me, I want to play that game!

henry 13-09-2005 12:20

With this programm you can bybass "Blacklists" from different copy-protections. A "Blacklist" is a list, which is aviable in some copy-protections. On this list there are copy- and emulationprograms like Alcohol 120%, Clone CD, Blindwrite or Deamon tools stored. When you want to start a game you have to deinstall these programs. To avoid this, you can use AntiBlaxx.

functions
anti-blacklist
The "Anti-Blacklist" function hides the installed emulationssoftware, so you don't have to deinstall the used software.

intelligent stealth
With the "Intelligent Stealth" function you can easily start your game from CD and you havn't to start it by AntiBlaxx. Set the necessary options and enjoy the game.

Another new release of Anit-Blaxx is out which updates it to version 1.16.
It's a workaround for SecuROM, SafeDisc, ProtectCD and Jowood X-Protect and available in German, Dutch, French and English.
Here's the changelog for version 1.16:

improved SecuRom 7 detection
improved Anti-SecuRom 7 Blacklist
Language file: Dutch added (thanks to Domination)
other bugs from Version 1.15 fixed

I have had good results with Anti-Blaxx, even better with the full image.
I even have a back-up CD that runs as per original as well.

EDIT: I have not changed to Win 2000 compatibility, but it still works.
