Hmmm, we are yet to hear from anyone who has actually purchased this game? Either no-one has purchased it yet or they are just having too much fun with it? It is not released until the 10th here in Australia!
Hopefully by then a NoCD crack is available. ;)

Here it will be realesed at June the 10th too.

I think it will have a new Version of SecuRom. Maybe SecuRom 8

noscript 07-06-2005 05:34

it has securom 7 and some custom stuff like stated below in an nfo:

Mr. Blowjob is back once more!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This time i present to you on 5th of June 2005:

Grand.Theft.Auto.San.Andreas.Scanned.Covers-iND

I was told by RELOADED and HOODLUM councils, that they both plan to release the
game within some hours. So good news for those who like cracked versions.

I was told by the 2 groups above, that the securom 7 protection isn't the
problem, it's the nasty custom encryption routines below it. Good news is that
their crackers have dealt with much harder protections before, so it's not
uncrackable and it's not StarForce protected like so many people want you to
believe.

I have done my clone release and you can find it on p2p networks right after
this release.

Respect to the worthy ones!! Hi Sexy!!
i found this on an nfo release site

Panzerknacker 07-06-2005 05:42

There is currently one by reloaded:

Grand.Theft.Auto.San.Andreas.READNFO-RELOADED

dunno if it's fake I got the .nfo and it looks very real. Dunno if I can post it though.

noscript 07-06-2005 05:43

it's fake :)

Panzerknacker 07-06-2005 05:52

yeah the .nfo also says it uses Starforce 4. Don't think RELOADED would make up crap like that, and if it's true it wouldnt be released yet.

noscript 07-06-2005 05:57

there is no sforce 4 at all.

Whos_Ur_Paddy? 07-06-2005 06:16

has anyone actually bought the game and scanned the disk with protection id 5.0c ? if so could they please post the outcome so that it is clear to everyone that it is not starforce i can not do it myself as it is not out in ireland till friday

noscript 07-06-2005 07:27

Are you not able to read?

We allready stated, that it is not Sforce. It is Securom 7 with custom encryption methods. Isaw a screen from array scanner. So it is really securom.

Talus 07-06-2005 08:01

I'm installing now, I'll let you know what Protection ID tells me. Maybe I need the latest version, but I have 5.0b

Talus 07-06-2005 08:08

This is what I get with 5.0c:

Quote:

Scanning -> C:\Games\GTA San Andreas\gta_sa.exe
File Type : Exe, Size : 14405632 (0DBD000h) Bytes
-> Suspicious MZ Header..
[!] Possible CD/DVD-Check String -> CD was
- Scan Took : 1.672 Seconds
Other files give me this:

Quote:

Scanning -> C:\Games\GTA San Andreas\vorbisFile.dll
File Type : Dll, Size : 65536 (010000h) Bytes
[!] File appears to have no protection or is using an unknown protection
- Scan Took : 0.938 Seconds

Whos_Ur_Paddy? 07-06-2005 08:16

time for cd killer to tell us what this string is cdkiller WHERE ARE YOU WE NEED YOU WHERE IS PID 6.0

Joe Forster/STA 07-06-2005 08:19

Talus, vorbisfile.dll is related to OGG Vorbis, the patent-free replacement of the MP3 audio file format plus its streaming container format. ;)

Talus 07-06-2005 08:20

I was just giving an example of the only other message I was getting besides the one for the main executable ;)

t.foster73 07-06-2005 08:21

Can you make a working backup using Alcohol? This is all I want to know. I'm not interested in pirated software, just backing up my purchase.

1.Does is blacklist Alcohol tools latest?
2.Can you mount a full Image file?
