The deamon image works fine for me too :D Now maybefully somebody will invent some sorta trainer or something...........I could actually play it :P

although it has worked fine, i found that there are problems using the image with the jukebox in the game, it sometimes quits to desktop, or as it just did hung and made me reboot pc. Anyone else experiencing this?

Just tried the new image too, still does exactly the same thing.

Anyone have any ideas?

are u using it with daemon tools?

also if you applied the hoodlum patch, and then are using this it will still crash, u will need 2 uninstall it, re-install it and only use the mini-image, not hoodlum patch!

Getting 'CD/DVD emulation software has been detected'...
 

I don't get it. I downloaded most recent DAEMON Tools and did a new install, without overwriting the original exe. When I try to start, I get a loading picture for a few seconds and then I get the following message ''CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game'. I can't disable DAEMON,duh?

emm dunno, maybe make sure there is not a virtual drive made by alcohol aswell as the snooker in daemon?

When you get this message: ''CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game', it usually means that you have CloneCD installed and the SafeDisc 4 copy-protection detects that in your registry when you start the game. If you have the latest version, 5.2 this message won't occur, but you have an earlier version and it occurs for you then go to Start/All Programs/SlySoft/CloneCD/CloneCD Tray and double-click on the 'CloneCD Tray' option.

Now you'll find that the CloneCD Tray icon is present in your System Tray, in the bottom right-hand corner of your PC. Right-Click on this icon and check 'Hide CDR media' so that it has a tick. When you do this, the emulation options in your registry get updated so that the SafeDisc emulation is not recognised. Now play the game.

Using Daemon Tools 3.47 to mount the image. Have now un-installed and re-installed (from original) haven't used the hoodlum patch at all as I read it didn't work.

With both images it does the same thing, loads up to the intro movie and then back to the desktop if you let the movie end or click the mouse.

Reading around, there are a lot of people who have got this to work, but there's equally as many who haven't

:) well I run DAEMON Tools new version and install and did not use and bad file make it crash and then I use mini-image and works! :)

It has nothing to do with the mini images or the patch. My original version is not working too. It quits after the intro with no error message. Windows application event log displays two errors, but there´s no hint to the real error. So it may be a problem caused by our systems (graphic driver, DirectX, Service Pack 2 dependency (I have SP 1 installed)).

F*** the Sega Support, especially the german one!

hi, I have got this game working with the mini image and daemon tools
just wondering if anyone has had any success in playing online
some people must have as there are scores on the 'leaderboard' (not many though)

what happens is the game loads but then an egg timer icon appears and that's it
I think it shows up 'lost connection' on the other persons game

:D I've managed to get it working!! Yay!!

By using compatibility mode it seems to work now, the intro movies look a little weird but who cares :)

Mount the 8MB image with Daemon Tools (the small one doesn't work for me)
Go to the install folder, right click on the wsc2005.exe, go to the compatibility tab and choose Win98 and apply. No more CD :)

This is obviously for WinXP users :cool:

This version is impossibly hard. I played one player in qualifying, and he made 3 century breaks! I'm going back to '04.

is there another crack that can i use?
