You can remove the CD check in v1.60 by Hex editing CORE.DLL and changing the byte at offset 0x4A8A2 from 74 to EB.

Obviously you need to have installed the 1.60 patch and applied the 1.60 fixed EXE by DOX :p

LOL I edited my post and made it right with Bounty warrrior thx for the heads up lol, Don't want Bounty warrrior mad with me he has hepled me alot in the past. thx for the info on the exe and the use of such. I just use my original CD then :). I hate the virtual drive crap no offence to anyone lol.

Worth pointing out once again that I have nothing to do with the cracks hosted by GCW. Thank you please. :cool:

I have read the majority of this thread and im sorry if ive missed something, but i cant seem to make my raven shield work without a cd.

I have a valid cd key, but rolled my comuter chair over the second RvS disk and broke it :rolleyes: , So i was wondering if possible, someone could post a step by step walkthrough on how i could get my raven shield running again?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

If you don't have the second disc you can't intall even to make a virtual drive, so contact ubi and see about getting a new Disc, only suggestion. I usely here my cd drop :).

I Understand where you at BountyWarrior, but I don't think I ever remember mentioning that you did :). I'm guessing this is a disclaimer on your part to the NOCD,s on GCW site, or ever who posted them there !!!. CHEERS
