Try using your cd-drive.

There is nothing new with this CrackFix !
It's the same cracked X2.EXE. Only the X2.DEV is now the renamed german original exe (StarForce3 protected) and not the renamed U.S. original exe (SecuRom5 protected).

that souldrinker crackfix is NOT version 1.2 german ! It is what it says, a crackfix for the original cd version 1.0, no more. You easily can verify it if you look the file version number of x2.exe from that crackfix.

I dont remember claiming it was a fix for v1.2 and I cant seem to find anyone requesting a crack for v1.2 in this thread. So what more can I say other then.....well nothing.

This is the text from the main download page for the supposed version 1.2 fixed exe - so either the writer of the text was wrong or you.
Maybe the webmaster should change the misleading info to something true.

When i start my game (german version) with this crackfix, it tells me in the setup-screen "X2 - Die Bedrohung Version 1.2DE, Januar 2004"
So where is the problem, Blowfly ???

Just in case, the german version is already in version 1.2 when sold.

i didn't know that - the file version of the original and cracked x2.exe says 1.1.0.0, so that was for me the real file version number. But you are right, I never looked really the 1st screen when it starts, there it says 1.2de.
