you keep talking to me like that i will ignore any further posts...
i told you to use pankers tools to help you get an understanding of how it all works... panker has many good methods but he has everything setup differently
than i do that includes pack and unpack commands
you should stop trying to copy my methods try his that are built into his compressor...
pankers tools is were i got my start and understanding of compression as well as how to setup an installer and edit and arc.ini everything
i have simply sent you down the same road..we must all start someplace

Compression method 2 lolz

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition with lolz
initial size 27gb
repack size 3.58

pzlib3+srep:m5f:a1+lolz:dt1:dtp1:dto1:dtm1:dtw1:dt d1:mtt0:mt6d64m:tt4 h14:fba4096:mc1023:bc8:blr8:bm

----note
decompression speed is faster
than blackbox and corepack

ur command of lolz has a problem that is why lolz is not working properly.

write mt6:d64 instead of mt6d64. they r separate entities.

bro can u please do a repack of just cause 3.

darkwolves 22-03-2018 04:00

dude thats the setup you gave me....lol

see you didn't have it seperated just had a # but now i'll put in a :
funny thing is it still worked even like that

replace # with number of threads u want.
every thread will use 700mb of ram during compression. and during decompression (around 100mb).
since we have used mtt0(ratio will not be affterted because of multithreading) number of threads during decompression will be equal to number of threads during compression.

yeah i did actually.....at one point i did do that but it crashed on ztool
i've since changed the pzlib settings and am test running it hasn't crashed
only on with ztool though something about the setting i was using was conflicting...

ZakirAhmad 22-03-2018 04:27

like i said it was my pzlib ztool settings

i was using

packcmd = ZTool e:pzlib:m2:t8:st8:ct8:rx:x - - <stdin> <stdout>
unpackcmd = ZTool d:pzlib:t8 - - <stdin> <stdout>

and now i am using

packcmd = ZTool e:{compressor}{:option}:t75p:c128m Input - <stdout>
unpackcmd = ZTool d:{compressor}{:option}:t75p:cm0mb - - <stdin> <stdout>
datafile = Input

now it doesn't crash but your post caused me to try it again i had other things i was doing

ZakirAhmad 22-03-2018 04:34

Compressed AC Unity from 45.27 to 31.3 gb

used afr +srep +lolz with mt2 on .forge files

bpk +srep on .bik excluding Abestergololgo.bk2 (bpk produces error with this single video)

srep+ lz77 on sound files

previously i did repack of AC unity with ztools plzo but it was bigger around 500mb than afr version and took around 30 minutes more to install using same no. of threads.

BTW, it takes around 1 hour to install on my core i3 4 thread pc + hdd 5400rpm.

Enjoy.

AFAIK their is no point of using precompressor over a compressor. it will not befit u.

darkwolves 22-03-2018 04:54

@ZakirAhmad

still only 1 thread showing i don't really care though it's still moving faster
i changed mtt0 to mtt1 lets see what that does

I did that and concluded.
Some of my work is experimental.
You do and give the result to me.
Have you seen anyone extract .cpk file and comprees inside file and reagain .cpk?
i learned this private method.
even Fitgirl and corepack team repack the pes 218 to 8GB. their repack 9.500GB
pleas Test and then make a point.
