I have a problem with FM2006 using win2000.
Everything starts up fine, use anti-blaxx. No problem at all. But when the game is on; Straight under 'Player Name' you are suppose to see his position, for example 'Defensive Midfielder', but get some kind of numeric-code instead, like '12134235'. Most annoying. I installed it on my brothers winxp and he had not my problem, so it is not the installation (I have re-installed and tried the latest patch) or image-file that is the problem. Can anyone PLEASE help me??? Thanks, Robert |

-> Run Alcohol (if you have it). -> On the left-hand panel click on Image Making Wizard and the wizad opens. -> Select the drive where there is FM2006 and select your prefered Read Speed (by default Maximum). -> Tick Skip reading errors and leave the others unticked. -> Click Next>. -> Name the image, select where you want to save it and Start making the image. ___________________________________________ Note: While making the image a number of error messages will occur (until ~3%), ignore them and let Alcohol work even if it takes long. |

So when you've done the full image of FM2006 then just mount it with Alcohol or Daemon Tools. (remember to change the compatibility of fm.exe) |
