Hey, I've been testing several compression methods for each game but it's taking me way too long to find the best method per game. So far I've found lolz and lzma/lzma2 to be the best compressors. Does anyone know the single best compression method I should use to compress most games at a relatively small size?

I forgot to mention that I'm using DiskSpan GUI.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a section on here that has tutorials for converting files like shrinking WAV or BIK files. I have some tools already, but I'm hoping to find better ways to use them, and maybe some new tools as well. I've been looking through some threads, but it seems like most of them are talking about compression, which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Do I need to keep digging or am I in the wrong place?

So I am completely new to game repacking. And I want to learn how it is done. What do I use to archive the games into .bin files? What do I use to extract those bin files? How do I find the right tools to start my repacking journey?
