I hear this program crack StarForce:

StarForceReverse-EngineeringToolsByReloadedEng

somebody has proven it?

Thaks.

Muji-FightR 26-04-2006 12:15

lol
This is just a collection of dlls and a small text for crackers to study or even crack StarForce (assuming they know what they are using :P), i didnt have a look at it, not interested in SF x( You need further knowledge to actually use this for reversing.
This is by no means an automated unwrapper !

Now PoP T2T is out a longer time. Gives there anywere out in the WWW a noDVD Medic that works? I mean without unplugging ;). There was some noDVD out, but this was a Fake or for GL Version, donīt know  . I donīt want install another Tool like Virtuell Drive Pro 10 (cause donīt know if itīs work, etc.). Hm maybe there gives a Rlz-Crew intern Rlz  :p .
At last, i buy this Game. I only donīt want to put the DVD anytime in ;). And with a Medic you must not reboot i think and this Starforce SH... will not be installed, i think(???). I hate this Starforce, but this Game is very n1  .

A working copy of a starforce protected game should only be possible with a cd version of that game. And as far as i know: "POP3" was released as a cd version too. But it's not that easy - that's what i read about:
Quote:

Q-2: Cloning StarForce is still possible, how does it work ?
A-2: The method of SFCloning is done by first thoroughly measuring where the StarForce verification occur, in order to establish points of reference and configure the patcher, second stage is imaging and prepatching then rescanning, since SFClones are highly media dependant, exact values need to be added for each to expand compatibility, the differences are minor but unforgiving, StarForce verification engine requires near perfect precision to authenticate. The process itself is complex and time consuming however the result is most definitely worth the effort.

NoCD/NoDVD Soon?

Wow it's been months and still no sign of a successful NoCD/NoDVD crack. From what I've read, Prince of Persia 3 is difficult to crack namely because the amir.dll and other files need to be altered in addition to the exe. Hopefully RELOADED or DEVIANCE is working on one.

Can i play pop 3 with image??
Without to unplug anything..

beretta9m2f 24-05-2006 23:26

I don't see what the big hastle is with having to put the actual CD in the tray. Does anyone have a PS2, XBox, Super Nintendo or ANY console? you have to change games, or have a cd in a tray at all times to play those games, but no one is posting over 30 posts to bypass that. Just play with the original game in the tray, if you've got iso's of everything else, then leaving one cd in the tray shouldn't be a problem. I doubt you'll be logging in 100 hours of prince of persia, so the CD scratching shouldn't be an issue.

I do think companies should move onto an online based system like STEAM did with half life 2. take your game to any computer as long as you have your account.

Joe Forster/STA 25-05-2006 02:42

@beretta9m2f: Oh, PLEEZ, don't start it again! In short:
- If you have kids, they will break the original CD/DVD in no time, thus you NEED a crack.
- Games that are not sold on physical media but can rather be played after an activation are a great fuck up in the long run because you won't be able to (re)install and (re)activate them when the developer/publisher gets out of business after X years.
- As for consoles, use modchips or modified firmware for backups and, perhaps, a hard disk for running games off images (or their equivalents).

beretta9m2f 25-05-2006 11:26

I won't bring it up, but i'll close with, if you have kids then palying prince of persia or anyother game shouldn't be your priority, shouldn't even be on your to do list lol. Oh wells i can understand the plight to want to get something done, but laziness sometimes makes you do more work. popping in a CD into a drive is way easier than unplugging your drives just for a game.

noscript 25-05-2006 12:40

its about nodvd exes not about playing starforce clones.

Tom Keller 25-05-2006 14:34

Hmmm... and i thought it's about finding a way to play a game without using the original game disc  ...
