Make sure enough free RAM, space, turn off AV etc....

Just to be safe on HD freespace, what ever game size is, make sure to have at least double that amount free, never have issues..

I got this when installing... No AV, plenty of free ram (32Gb total and it only shows a bit used), 2TB free on the drive where the game folder is a 300GB free on the SSD where the system temp folder is located.... Any ideas?

I always get this error message!?!?
I generally do 3 things:
1-Empty temp folder.
2-Clean C drive.
It always work for me.
3-Redo conversion.

well I did all that and redid the conversion twice on different PCs, no chance keep getting the same problem. Too bad I must stay on srep+lzma normal compression coz this problem...from 9 to 12 discs...

It should be 8 discs with afr for 1 or 2 languages.

goto UA\resource folder, edit config0.inf & put it in MMC line. Then just select MMC in ultraArc compression choice.

config0.inf = UltraArc
FA.ini = Diskspan

I've found and downloaded diskspan, just drag & drop the game folder and got it 11 DVD5. But setup.exe is 0 bytes is there anything else I should do about that? I'm thinking about replace 0byte exe with this conversion one, from what you said should work and that way will make the conversion fit on a DVD5 with that exe included.

Correct me if i'm wrong didn't had much time to read whole diskspan thread yet, maybe when I come back from work I can catch up...

If you want to use Setup from GTX590, you have to wait for him to update his setup, because his setup version doesn't support diskspan (if I saw it correct) + you have to change the archive sizes in DiskSpan.bat slightly for Data1 (first size - (minus) 30MB) and Data3 (-30MB too).

I had many errors with that compression then I gave up!!!!

1 language = 7 x DVD5 (6 x 4,36 GB + 1 x 3,72 GB)
conversion time = 3 hours

Used updated DSG from your last post, but dunno how to use "database preset".

First time in DSG I chose method 6.
