correct me if i m wrong

I will give the possibility to setup each external filters or compressors, the order of the method is managed by the user,
for now it is under construction, later, one of the best compression detection system will perhaps created.

This is a GUI for arc and a few external compressors

KaktoR 28-09-2016 12:37

@JRD!

Maybe you could share a translation file for other languages?

JRD! 28-09-2016 22:06

The program works with multilingual files, I would ask you certainly help at this level soon.
I started building IME for used its own method personalized. Thanks for the support.

Gupta 29-09-2016 02:23

if u r adding mask compression
How about creating ur own mask group with GUI?
I mean this will provide us a option for creating our own file group and method to use on it by modifying arc.groups
BTW Thanks for this...

Well this is what I intend to do, I thought about how to make all this possible and in relation to the rest of the program...

Enough crap already.

ArcGUI Method Editor v0.0.3 preview:

JRD! 12-10-2016 15:00

An overview of changes that I made, I had to rework the multilingual system and management of information of the imported files, ability to set a prefix of archive compressors to revised summer, ability to create a method by default, format of increment in the name of archives, extensions, management methods, or compressors from a model (present in the arc.ini file) , sync the files arc.ini are automated to the choice, the importation of methods or compressor settings, both at the same time, same for exports and much of anything else, I work currently on the creation or editing of the files ArcGroups, and a option for the calculation of the number of possible compared to the number present external compressors method... I'd like to request a feature or per say, just a thought that would be nice to implement. It's always hassle to keep external compressor files updated, and keep track of the file version, which is latest and which is not. It'd be nice to have an option displaying a window for installed external compressor components alongwith it's version number and ability to update to newer version just by click away; like maintaining a small database just for external files. Like the image below. I don't know if i explained it correctly. In any case keep up the good work! :)

Thank you very much for this idea, I will implement it soon.

Hey JRD from many pic that you posted, I think you will need to write a user manual of several pages to use it...:D I'm curious to try it...;)

Yeah I thought about the downside of that request too, soon after replying here :o ... I also wanted to ask if there's a way to add history settings window or tab, like when you compress a file with a particular method, it should be able to keep a log of that files just for perusal. It helps beginners like me to keep track of which method i applied while working way with decompressing.

Thanks, I'll have to actually that I create a help file, and that I stop additions, I received a critique of a tester who asked me to stop the additions,
I'll soon post a version, you can throw it in your folder that contains your compressors, then you will see by you even...

This function is already create, just put it in place...

pakrat2k2 24-10-2016 08:01

when will you actually put a beta in place so users can try it out, & maybe give feedback on any issues found, instead of just pictures of progress ? ( add archive to first post so easily found )

JRD! 08-11-2016 20:40

JRD! 15-11-2016 04:26

I won't be posting more not full version, I don't see any return on the previous version, when a version will be stable and functional,
I will send a link to my Github account to those who will be interested.

kenzo34 15-11-2016 06:01

I do not understand, and do not agree with his choice, logically it is just a personal opinion ...;)

pakrat2k2 16-11-2016 10:05

Why keep posting smaller updates, post a final version, then any fixes for that final afterwards. IF you want those small updates then PM him for the link, keeps topic cleaner.

KaktoR 16-11-2016 12:32

It's his program = his choice. No matter what we think.

But anyway, it would be cool if we had at least some translation tables to do translations that you could add in your (final) version later.

JRD! 16-11-2016 20:00

I sets up the management of filters and their parameters of the method Wizard,
then will start a multilingual system or everyone can add his language, then a help file.
I understand that some don't understand not to I did so, but I had no comment after a week,
so it doesn't help to post a version that is not completed...

JRD! 25-11-2016 19:09

I will posted the version 0.8.3.5 today, I'll added a few entries in the method editor so that it is not empty, thanks.
