Hi pakrat2k2.Sorry to be a bother,but have you managed to look into the games files to see if i have the correct ones?i am trying to make dvd 9 but after the conversion when i test and install i get an decompression\compression error and i think it is because of theese files.I modified the UltraARC.ini:

FirstVolumeSize=8030
CustomVolumeSize=8152

like you said.And now when i lauch ultraArc by default it is set to those parameters....Please Help!

if you want to change them simply edit the ini file ( remove them or change to what you want )

ok,i have edited the ini line...just like this...but still i get the error at installation...

and i think it has something to do with the language files
i just don`t know if thoose are the correct files for the game to work properly in english

other then those 6 files all looks good.

Hi everyone... My first disc is 4.48 Gb... Why ?? Data1a is 4.36 Gb and Setup.exe is 100 Mb... Setup.dll is 15.4 Mb... Don't fix in a DVD5... Can anyone help? Thanks

I have used Freearc compress - srep, exe, exe2, delta and zlma - and i got 6 DVDs with English and Brazilian Portuguese, game updated to last build 1.10.0 and all DLCs!

I have FC4/ v1.9.0/ dlc_durgesh/ dlc_yeti.
I still get FC4_1 @4.48GB...but, when I delete setup.exe it fits @4.36GB to be an iso image.


Is it ok to remove/delete *_hd & *_hd.fat in folder data_win32, data_win32/world/fcc_main, data_win32/world/multicommon and data_win32/world/downloadcontent/fcc_dlc30 -- fcc_dlc60 -- fcc_d90_dlc??

Or is there any file that safe to remove?

IF your doing a conversion for another language other then English, you still need to have the English versions of the files listed in first post AND the files for your language choice
so that game will run. remove all others you don't want in all other folders.

You cant delete the setup.exe, just make sure to follow the instructions correctly so that you end up with correct dvd sizes.

Is your system font set to higher than 100% size in display settings? If yes, that can cause a myriad of errors in all manner of applications.

dude, help me. i got size issue on this conversion.
disk1 = 4.48gb
disk2 = 4.36gb
disk3 = 4.36gb
disk4 = 2.86gb with redist

i tried to leave the redist folder on the game dir, and i also tried to remove redist from game dir, but the conversion still make disk1 4.48 that makes no fit on dvd5. i cant burn it bcz its too large size.
can u help me?
i've deleted all the language beside english lang.

because more can't fit in a dvd5

Final sizes with v1.10 and all dlcs and languages: 6xdvd5 (all with 4.36gb)

all perfect but the installer don't show me the progress bar, i dont know why (i make this with CIUV2)

Edit: i remake the conversion with this values:

CustomVolumeSize=4474

and i replaced the setup with the v1.3, now works very good

Final sizes: 5x 4,36gb & 1x 4,34gb (v1.10 and all dlcs and languages)
