Great convo and if could get to 8.5 discs be good too as wont use so many discs then, but if don't work of them discs be a losss as i test all on re-writables first before put proper dvds with labels printed on as well the boxes ;):)

Already implement like i do on GRID2, based on BAMsE methods and works very well. I will test better tomorrow.
Now, the language folder will be in DVD7, so no problems with the size on DVD1 anymore. :cool:

I had the version with the language in this way, "rld_spanish, rld_italian, etc". I did the following to Spanish language.

-Move "Language selector" in Patch folder in CODG_7. ;)
-Let alone the folder "rld_spanish" and delete the others.
-Modify "only the file Data7.lst". Add at the end of the line this: rld_spanish\*
-Modify "MP.lst" like this:

This is their English and Spanish language, if you want another language replace Spanish with yours.

These language names are incorrect. The legit version has the following folder names:

english
french
german
italian
spanish
japanese
polish
russian

But if work for you. Good! :D

Hi, after conversion in 7xdvd5, I try to install it and at the end I press "END" button but appears the image below. Game works very well without problems, but I don't know why the message appears... anyone??

I believe it is because of cjstyles. Windows Data Prevention Execution block and this error appear. I dont know why.

The game was updated, so i will re-organize the files. I will re-organize for DVD9 too.

I suggestion you wait for the updated conversion because update 1 was released.

I add a feature to choose the language you want, so will supported one language only. No space for more languages.
language folder was moved to DVD7 now.

This game only works with one language folder anyway.

The current sizes with update 1 for all languages will be: (no-cd included) - 7xDVD5

No need tutorial anymore. The compress.bat script will compress automaticaly the language you choose (if you have).

Udpated to v1.1:

- Completely re-organized lst files and tested with all languages;
- Updated GameSize according to update 1;
- Added language option on Compress.bat;
- Updated info Page;

Attention: Make sure if you have the legit folder names, if not rename it: english, french, german, italian, japanese, polish, russian, spanish

DVD9 version soon.

Tested in Win 7 32bit works good.

Sorry but is not possible. Maybe if you use precomp+srep+freearc lzma. But it will take hours to compress and the installation will be slow.

I will post a new conversion for DVD9 soon.

he has already stated that more compression will NOT really help in reducing this MONSTER down anymore then it is already. Just changing setup from DVD5 version to DVD9 version will be a major undertaking. Reworking all the file lists to get thing to fit on dvd9 rather then dvd5 !!!

Corrupt file. Make the conversion again.
Just delete and re-create the Data6.cab, for this make sure if you have the other Data.cabs in their respective folders and run Compress.bat. The script will create only Data6.cab

but i want to report my data5.cab size. It takes 4.38GB (4.699.342.608 bytes)
and when i look data5.lst and data7.lst there are same files

can i delete that list in data5.cab? cause there are in data7.lst

So, yes you can delete, 4.38GB will fit (4.700.000.000 bytes). So i advise you delete from Data7.lst

with a new update out, you must make a small change for dat6.lst & data7.lst
otherwise CODG_6 ends at 4.57GB

move imagefile59.pak, & imagefile62.pak from data6.lst to data7.lst
then do conversion.
CODG_6 = 3.57GB
CODG_7 = 3.84GB
