got this error two times :(
Windows 8 Pro 32bit

Do you have enough RAM? Free your RAM, close other applications that you dont need for now.

Also, if you have Win 32bit, delete FreeArc-LZMA-x64.exe before run the compress.bat
Also, dont put the conversion files in the game folder.

@sigit_army I had the same problem with StarCraft II...

Open compress.bat with notepad and change
to
Highlighted (red) change is what helped me compress SCII on Windows 8.

4gb RAM and have more free ram, and deleted FreeArc-LZMA-x64.exe :o

i have change to d158m still error :D maybe i must use windows 7

Its possible you make the conversion in another PC?

read docs, in particular you need -lc- option. it will allow you to use dictionary up to ~254mb. larger dictionary is impossible because it needs 8*dict bytes as contiguous block and windows provides only 2gb one
