So, I have both Arkham Asylum and City, old retail versions with GFW. I saw that there are new versions available on Steam that don't have GFW implemented.

Is there some sort of an update that can change my games or?

I will make a new version for BAC Steam Edition. Soon...

Solution for language Spanish:

1- Open Data4.lst
2- Edit the line "BmGame\CookedPCConsole\English(US)\*" to "BmGame\CookedPCConsole\Spanish(Spain)\*"
3- Add the line "BmGame\CookedPCConsole\Steel_B1_Static.upk"
4- Save and close
5- Run compress.bat

Tested in Windows 8.1 Update 1 (x64)

Tip: if you installed the game in drive c: & you use windows vista or higher, disable UAC or realize the conversion in "secure mode" (i did this :D)
