I tried to convert again with these registry entry and the game runs without Steam installed !!But to be able to run the game, you have to change the time zone and date as is mentioned above by Fabio!

NOT needed anymore, just use the 3DM crack @ gamecopyworld
its been patched so no longer needed to install steam &/or change timezone / date.

It's not fixed completely cause still i have got an error it is solved by installing steam on the machine, changing timezone is fixed, we have to wait for the fixed untill the next release of 3dm or skidrow
Zombie Mode is completely unusable for the offline users

shanrq 17-11-2012 01:19

REV0 17-11-2012 01:54

Tested, not possible.

You also need 12 hours to make the conversion if i remember right. You also need to think time/compression. If you'll spend 6-7 hours to compress a game for 1dvd5, it's not logic.

Ekhem, I deleted the files you said and I can't launch a Story Strike Force Mission - mp_dockside.d3dbsp - Better check for any other singleplayer missions using multiplayer maps. Now I can't progress with the story.

That's why i said move them to elsewhere and continue to play it. Added the map as exception to the thread.

elbubi 18-11-2012 06:53

Based on mp sound files, I think we can guess that mp files needed for Story Strike Missions are the following:

*Dockside
*Drone
*Overflow
*Socotra

Block game with firewall. If you using windows firewall use this;

Extract and edit "blockfirewall.bat" with notepad.
Change "YOURGAMEINSTALLATIONFOLDER" line.
Save it and run.

Example for YOURGAMEINSTALLATIONFOLDER:
"%%PROGRAMFILES%%\Activision\Call of Duty - Black Ops 2\t6sp.exe"

If you want clean firewall configuration;

Extract "cleanfirewall.bat" and run

If you nvidia user and take blackscreen error use Nvidia 310.54 BETA driver.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-wi...ta-driver.html

http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-wi...ta-driver.html

I hope you will fix and sorry for my broken english.

Edit: Added bat file

Thanks REV0 for notice.

I'm asking to myself the same question... i don't have any mp_dockside.d3dbsp! I guess it's a typo, i think REV0 meant mp_dockside.ff!

REV0 20-11-2012 02:11

Then try with dockside.ff and report us back so i can edit the conversion. I formatted PC and installing BO2 is not possible ATM.

Cheers.

mustuk32 20-11-2012 04:21

I can not find this file mp_dockside.d3dbsp mp_dockside.ff
there is a file named

The-revenge 23-11-2012 09:26

So you solved the problem with strike mission? Now it works propely? Can I proceed to conversion?

Kamyk95 24-11-2012 03:07

There must be one more Strike Force mission in there (If you don't save Karma, there is a one Strike Force mission more).

mp_socotra.ff

Kamyk95 24-11-2012 04:34

But there are 5 Strike Force missions. So that means 5 maps or not?

There are more than 5 SF missions, what's the deal http://www.swngz.com/images/smilies/smilies%20v2/83.gif

Kamyk95 24-11-2012 05:11

There are five Strike Force Missions in Single Player Mode, so that means 5 multiplayer maps used by the Campaign. You say that I have to remove all the multiplayer maps except 4. There is one more map that is used by the game.

one of them is sp map.

Kamyk95 24-11-2012 06:57

Huh? I didn't know that. I thought that all Strike Force Missions are Multiplayer Maps Based missions. Sorry for the problems.

REV0 24-11-2012 07:05

The one which you protect the Chinese VIP in Afghanistan is actually the map from 1980s

Yes that one

Kamyk95 25-11-2012 12:07

OK, the game works great on Win7 x64 with Update 2 & SKIDROW's crack pre-applied. Thanks.

HellRazor 02-01-2013 09:36

I can't start the game after I remove the files from Step 3.
Anyone else have/had this problem?

Steps done:
1. Installed the Game,
2. Removed the files,
3. Made setup/conversion from this topic,
4. Deinstalled the game.
5. Installed from ISO files and started the game. Game didn't want to start.
.exe file of the game appeared in Task Manager, CPU usage was around 6% and he was using 8MB or RAM.

Deinstalled the game installed with files from this topic and installed original again. It worked.
What could be the problem?

Got no idea, i know CTD issue because of deletion of the wrong file but no start-up, this is the first time i heard

Xaelin 03-01-2013 01:48

Maybe must clean registry with any regcleaner program and try after than or check firewall configuration and delete any import.

vasu001 09-01-2013 02:57

which files should i remove if i don't want zombie mode as well, cause it sucks......

pakrat2k2 09-01-2013 12:14

X:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty Black Ops II\zone\ check folders for zm* , those should be the zombie mode files.

HellRazor 10-01-2013 06:21

So... In your opinion, would zmb_*.sabs and zmb_*.sabl from sound folder be related to Zombie mode or not?

Also, I know how to remove the reference of Zombie Mode from Autorun but which lines should I remove to stop the installer from making Zombie shortcut on desktop?

Test and see i guess (i'm talking about Zombie mode) but as a person who completed the game fully, i never saw any zombie map so you should good to go.

For Autorun, open Setup.ini and delete entries about Zombie Mode (they should be located top of the ini file)

I know about autorun. But what about .iss script.
Which line(s) should I delete/disable to prevent it from making Zombie shortcut on Desktop?

Nothing. Just disabled/delete the lines in setup.ini about Zombie mode, it wont make a shortcut.
