I did everything according to the conversion steps but without using the no-intro fix as I wanted the original video files.So the size of my conversion is 4.40gb..Is there anyway to reduce the size to 4.37 gb ?

directx of course delete everything in directx folder & replace with web installer version ( rename it to match of course)
just change the physx name in setup.ini to match new one

I already replaced the DirectX setup with the web installer version.Still size is now 4.39 gb :( and I don't want to use the No Intro Fix.

Most probably yes.But to be sure,can you give me an example of the name of the multilanguage files ? And does the dlc also contain multilanguage files ?

it doesnt matter, there are only couple files in cookedpcconsole folder, they only make up ~2-300KB. Your sure that when you archived the 3 gamefolders, that you chose ULTRA compression ? I just re-installed game + update 1 + update2+DLC, did NOT use no-intro fix, replaced DX with Dxwebsetup and renamed physx, my data1.cab archive came out to 4.27GB, Redist folder=63.4 MB. Entire dvd now 4.36GB which fits fine on dvd5.

I did it on ultra..But never mind,I'll compress it one more time and make sure I don't do anything wrong with the parameters ! And Thanks for you cooperation and help. :)

Senseman, you need to change step 1.. If you install Install Dunwall City Trials DLC, it includes files from update 1 & 2
so no need to install them as previous content from those 2 updates is included in the DLC update.

I compressed it again but still the same size.The archive size is 4.30 gb..Is their any way to compress the redist files along with the main files and make the conversion setup install the redistributables from the installed Directory ?

leave the redist folder in main folder with setup files. You should still have enough room to burn to dvd5.

well in all these images u can see that windows explorer window is covering the setup images showing close and minimize button,in small installer as well,so is there a way to remove it cause that will look better.......

BTW tested the conversion worked flawlessly....SIZE- 3.80 GB :D

oh side note, make sure to edit setup.ini and change switch for dxsetup ( renamed dxwebsetup ) to /q from /silent. Otherwise it'll pop-up error about wrong switch.

dunno bud, ive done compression twice using ultra setting, and archive ends up 4.27GB. Redist folder-8 files,with dxwebstup, renamed to dxsetup(x1), PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware.msi(x1), UE3Redist files(x2), vcredist files(x4) altogether 63.4 MB. autorun files, setup files + data1.cab == 4.36GB burned perfectly on dvd5

I just compared this with my Archive info and observed that their is a difference in parameters in the dictionary Section

I manged to fit it in dvd5 by replacing latest physx with custom physx setup whose size is 9.21 mb and later extracts itself..And I removed vcredist files and edited the setup.ini according to it so that setup does not not show option to install it.So I came here to ask,Are the vcredist files of any significant importance ?

any system MAY need directx, vc++, physx etc IF its never had any games / apps installed on it.

what about the UE3Redist on its own, doesnt that install them ( 24 mb ) have dx, UE3Redist in setup.ini. Test those 2 see if it installs them.

I have UERedist in the conversion..Just forgot to mention it

There's nothing to hope about it, we talked about it and he said he'll re-make the conversion with different graphics but same buttons and also in CIU

No problems here, everyone is busy on something i'm sure he already started to make the conversion and he'll post it soon
