Always is the same Install... the same imput files...
And sometimes... like this one have a BUGS... example of Bugs: ;#define CustomBinaryIcon "SonicGenerations.ico" Yeah... i remember this from the frist install i download from here... and all have the same... Copy&Paste... Is really Hard to make a REAL (not copy&paste) installation script, without the cab file, and copy&paste stuff from another games? First of all i'll give you some info about INNO. If a value contains semi-colon in the beginning means it wont be used, nor necessary. The values you gave wont be used in conversion nor necessary, for example SonicGenerations.ico. I could simply erase it, but i dont need to erase it. What you will see ? Cab file and it's contents. Also regkeys will come in handy. EVERYONE including yener, me, senseman, fabio, name the converter, will use same script because we are working with yener's script. It's working pretty well, and he keeps it updated, so converters only deal with visual stuff and other things. Script is done by yener, he's updating his script every time, and every converter use it without problem, because why it exist. |

if you dont have any knowledge about this then dont do so.
if you would be so smart, you would know that those lines completely disabled. you can also delete them. i only left them because special games require such lines. for them i need to activate them. if you dont like then dont use it. |
Ease up there guys. 'DaWul' was simply asking questions, possibly with a little attitude but take into account he is from Spain, so once again English is not his first language. Yes he could have 'maybe' asked in a better mannor but I really dont think he meant anything personally to you REV0 or anyone else here.
It is obvious he doesnt understand the scripts but that is no reason to go off at him. He just wanted to know why some of the script seemed like it shouldnt be there. He now knows thanks to you REV0. Always take into account some questions may come accross rudely, this is not always the intention of the posters. ;) |

for one NEVER extract the conversion files into game folder.
use a temporary folder for the conversion files the results can be moved into the temp folder names afterwards. |
i got warning "Please Insert disc : 1" when trying to install.
i use the V1.03C Fix conversion, then i used the classic themes. how to fix this ? |

Is there anyway to resume video during installation once you have turned it off? Works for music, but video seems not te be resumable. Kind Regards and thanks once again! |

conversions have nothing to do with that. It uses your installed game files to make the conversion from, not files from dvd. So read post 1 again & follow all the steps.

included 1.5 update and DLC's DVD1 4.37gb (without video) DVD2 4.32gb (with no dvd)

I don't understand.The attachment folder has also other folders as languages,langsymboles,eula,and files as installer scrip,rename.bat and so on.Where should I put them?[what dvd folder?Also how do I compile?It's not mentioned in the tutorial.

Man,thank you,I've understood what should I do with setup files,but I don't understand what should I do with the folders Langsymbols,Languages,include and Eula from the attachement .They are not specified in the tutorial.,there it is told that only the setup files should be put in the dvd1 folder.Also how do I create the bin files?They appear in the game instal folder or should I create them by compressing the instal game folders with freearc?

I've understood I was missing the step of compiling in Ino ,but what I should I do with the original uninstall files?

DONT delete them just move them to a temp folder, you'll need to move them back to uninstall from original version AFTER having completed the conversion.

Thanks, REV0. Works fine on Win7 Home Premium 64bit. With compression lzma2/ultra64 I've got 7,14 GB's (without redist folder and High Res texture pack, version 1.4 with 11 DLC's).
