One doubt: Why this install process takes much more time than others you have done using also Precomp+Srep+FreeArc? I'm not complaining AT ALL! Just beeing curious...

The reason should be the huge files for precomp+srep unpacking work.

For example:

The original size of the only levels folder is ~10 gb, after the precompression becomes ~ 28 gb:eek:

Well in 24 hours i compress all movies 50% with bink tool and i got 24 gb :D as well the audio.rpf you can make it much smaller ;)

- the compressing Process takes about 7 houres with me to complete (without errors).
- final size of all 4 Disk's about 17 GB (27 GB of orginal size).
- installation takes about 75 min.
- the size of game file after installation is 28.3 GB.

hey peter, i think you need to update the setup.exe for the latest update, the registry entries don't seem to work. cheers in advance

1.0.0.22 just changes MaxPayne3.exe and no new files/folders appear. I don't think there will be a problem.

2) Extract 'MP3_v.1.0.0.22.7z' contents (not in game folder)

3) Launch Data3.bat & wait...

4) Use the new Setup.exe & Data3.bin that you just created

New setup.exe was created just for the registry entry which points the version of the game :confused:? I had recreated Data3.bin with previous setup.exe in order to include the new patch files and is working normally :D

Updated the registry entries as well :)

i want to do again, install full installation updated to v.1.0.0.17 and updated to v.1.0.0.22.

now which convert should i use for full convertion. THX

If you have installed from original setup and then updated to v1.0.0.17-v.1.0.0.22, you need to do:

Follow the steps of 1st conversion and then use the new setup.exe v.1.0.0.22 (MP3_v.1.0.0.22.7z).

Finally, I did it:D! After:
Conversion 13 Hours
Installation 03 hours from ISO's..But I was obliged to install Social Club manually from Redistributables Folder.
So Peterf !Thank you so much ,You have done a great job:)

You are wrong, Rockstar social club is installed in silent mode when ticked:)

I have solution for speed this cnv...

open task manager, go to tab process then look for "precomp.exe" n "Arc.exe"
right click then set priority to realtime.

Now the cnv more faster then before... i try this because i dont want to wait 10 or 13 hours to to that...:D:D

sorry to sound rude, didn't mean to, just wanted to mess around with the script for a bit of fun, your witcher 2 script, while lovely, is just inno setup internal compression is it not? it's the isdone.dll part of the script that really interests me, maybe you could release one more script for us?
