After two days of hard work we managed to do the conversion with Update 1.02 fit on a DVD5! Thanks Bamse and Schabik for detailed information! Conversion works great on Windows 7 x32 bit!

I did it with the update 1.02. :S It don't entry for 70 mbs + or -. Thanks very much

1. there's no cab#.bin files
2. 2nd file is 1.0405.725 or 1.405.725
3. it's in kB or KB unit (yes, it makes difference :) )? I suppose that's not kb

So if it's 1405725kB I don't understand what's the problem: 3210204 + 1405725 = 4615929 < 4700000 kB

dongato1306 there are two ways to shrink the size:
1. use -mx -ld1600 method instead -mx -ld800
2. delete foreign languages from bik files (see this and this post and here you'll find all tracks listed). It gives you extra ~75MB

i tryed the conversion with the game updated to 1.03 and with dlc "the lost archive", the installation work fine, but when i launch the game it crash with ACRSP.exe stop working.
i tryed to edit some reg key but nothing... is possible have 1.03 setup.dll?

Andrew90 I don't have the script file for this game anymore so I can't update setup.dll to 1.03
But you can do as follows:
1. uninstall conversion
2. install original / update to 1.03
3. open registry editor and export two keys:
HKLM\Software\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed Revelations
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uni nstall\{3B...................
(I don't remember it exactly so look around - there'll be DisplayName______REG_SZ______Assassin's Creed Revelation data)
4. uninstall oryginal
5. burn two reg files on conversion DVD
6. install your conversion (1.03 with 1.02 setup.dll) / run two exported reg files


Another way: if you have 1.02 in registry just use AssassinsCreedRevelations.exe to update it to 1.03. Now you have 1.03 in registry so you may export two above-mentioned keys

yes, i tryed to install the game with update 1.03 and export all regkeys (i used revo uninstaller for see which keys add to registry), but when i install the conversion and add the regkeys, the game doesn't work...
I will do the conversion with the game updated to 1.02.

if anyone's interest I could post my conversion - what it will let you do is put patches 1.01 & 1.02 on the disc (not slipstreamed, as the standalone .exe's) along with the 1.02 crack, which is the most recent crack released for the game.

I accomplished this by editing the installshield cab files - removing foreign lang audio & inserting 9 resampled (@76%) multiplayer videos.

My final .iso had 13 mb or so to spare to fit on a dvd9.

You can resample MP videos or replace them with dummy files.
What about sounds_eng.pck... Well, you need it if your non english installation still uses english voices (e.g. polish subtitles + english voices). If your installation is e.g. french, it uses own voices and during update sounds_fra.pck is needed

Just checked and the !french.rlst and !english.rlst contents are exactly the same. Which means if you run the !french.rlst you will be removing french audio and leaving english still. If you edit with notepad, just change all /t4 to /t1 in the !french.rlst and you should be fine. Unless i missed something and i'm completely messing this up.

1. Install the game, and update to v1.03.

2. Install "The lost Archives" DLC.

2. Download below file of your choice and extract to TEMP folder.

3. Go to {game_dvd}\support and copy

to

5. Go to {game_folder}\videos, delete every FOLDER but one of prefered language

6. Download audio_remover.rar from OP, unpack it to Videos folder and run i.e. !english.rlst for leaving English only

7. Run compress.bat and wait for it to compile.

8. Make isos/burn contents of ACR_1 (and ACR_2 if using MP also) folders with any label.

I've included as a separate attachment "Scritps.rar" which contains the .iss files necessary for making this game work in another language. I personally don't have the time to make it for all languages so feel free to update the registry section for your preferred language.

I got this problem. Any solution? I look through the compress.bat but there were no creation of Data5.cab in it.
By the way, I'm using the SP Only.

Yea ok seen it now and it seems that i have made a mistake with one file.

You can just open "Setup.ini" file and remove the red line shown here below:

Or download this file and replace with the old setup.ini (Please let me know if the conversion works correctly. Spent many hours remaking this conversion and mostly because of some registry issues.)

First of all there is no need to be rude.

Secondly if you weren't a noob (and used computers to do just about anything), you would understand that {game_dvd}\support means the support folder on your original dvd (the one you bought in-store). This is of course assuming that you own an original game and you did not download your's off the internet like a pirate (tsk tsk very bad). This forum does not help pirates.

Thirdly (and I'm just mentioning this so that it does not get asked later by you or other noobs), {game_folder}\videos is the videos folder in your game installation directory.

I wonder how you even used the audio remover if you don't know a simple thing like {game_dvd}\support.
