does using the mini/maxi image make WIC drop fps like the crack? i'm on 1.002 and disc right now. i hate it,

nando2002 26-10-2007 01:40

I use the maxi-image and don't notice differences compared to the DVD.

WardoggOne 26-10-2007 13:46

maximka 26-10-2007 21:48

Patch v1.002 released. Securom was downgraded version to 07.33.0014))) WIC perfectly runs with DT v4.10 and YASU v1.4.7080!

nod32 gives me a virus warning with this crack. Can somebody check it out with other anti-virus technologies and let us know the results please?

ERASER_M 27-10-2007 10:26

hmm my Avira AntiVir give me no virus warnings for this rar-file

Don't roll your eyes at me. I didn't write nod32 :)

It moved wic_ds.exe to quarantine.

Joe Forster/STA 27-10-2007 10:38

If you look closely, it says "probably unknown WIN32 virus" so it's yet another false positive. (NOD32's heuristics are great but not 100% perfect.)

I did see that, which is why I wanted other people to try their own anti-virus software and see what happened.

;) oki^^

but i don't think that gcw upped a file within a virus, because there checked the files before they released it on their page
(... i hope so  )

looking at the text in the corner downright
http://ul.gamecopyworld.com/

"Archives are tested after uploading. [...] "

WardoggOne 27-10-2007 13:37

anyone know how to use the nointro fix for WIC? i mean where do ya put the files?

ERASER_M 27-10-2007 13:53

theres a readme in the zip with this text:

1.- Create a new folder called "movies" (without quotes)
2.- Extract the zip content to that folder
3.- Play the game with no intros.

WardoggOne 27-10-2007 15:20

there's no readme in the RAR

nando2002 27-10-2007 16:08

I uploaded the files to GCW and the info is inside as stated by eraser_m. get the zip from there.

WardoggOne 27-10-2007 17:50

it is not. look again. unless you reuploaded it. dudes in my pwnage would i ask if there was a readme?

nando2002 27-10-2007 20:14

I've downloaded right now from GCW and the name still the same: wic_nointro.zip and inside is the readme.txt saying:
World in Conflict No Intro Fix:

1.- Create a new folder called "movies" (without quotes)
2.- Extract the zip content to that folder
3.- Play the game with no intros.

Are you sure you get it from GCW?

nando2002 27-10-2007 20:15

btw... i never reupload it.

WardoggOne 28-10-2007 01:09

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...readmefile.jpg

this is the one i got. you definitely re uploaded.

i got it from GCW on oct 22

dammit i'm not a noob. my pwnage level is high. if there was one would i WASTE my time asking? i dled it then opened and left it alone since i couldn't find the files to be replaced

TippeX 28-10-2007 02:18

if your pwnage was that high you wouldnt be asking about a readme, because you would naturally know what to do / figure it out ... ;p

kosmiq 28-10-2007 02:26

wtf... "my pwnage is high"... Sorry for laughing but.. Come on..

WardoggOne 28-10-2007 02:50

just stating fact dude, don't hate. i was following what's the norm for no intro fixes. find the movies folder and files to overwrite. wic has none. i didn't think of this method as i figured it wouldn't work.

alexmulo 29-10-2007 15:17

I have a little problem, the game can't start.
At the beginning there is a black screen and the return all on desktop. I have installed the new patch but he doesent work. Why?

I have a Nvidia 6600 GT AMD 64 and windows xp pro 32 bit.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Joe Forster/STA 29-10-2007 15:33

Try without a crack, too; read the forum FAQ for more.

nando2002 30-10-2007 01:50

Can be graphic drivers. I assume it can be because the screen goes black for movies playback after that the game starts the engine to load resources and shows the main screen - in my computer I see my wallpaper while the game comes back from playback (this can be visible if the game resolution is lower than your windows resolution).
Check for the lastest NVidia drivers since they include performance optimizations for World in Conflict.

alexmulo 30-10-2007 02:46

I have tryed without crack, but he don't work. Now I have installed the last nvidias driver, the beta version but I have the same problem.
Can be that I have burned the DVD and than installed the game?

Thanks

nando2002 30-10-2007 03:19

Try using the original DVD to install

yeah that's doubtful. while he's playing with his dolls. i'm playing with girls. he's scared of cooties. now enough mod. on topic. 1.002 crack doesn't bring the fps drop

Grumpy 30-10-2007 18:20

Grow up boy! ;)

BarryB 31-10-2007 05:59

As my late father used to say: "I'll bang all your heads together then I'll get the right one!" :)

Anyone know why FAKELIGHT released a 'scene valid' v1.0.0.2 crack?

Code:

http://d.turboupload.com/d/2122803/flt-wc12.rar.html
Password = gcw

At least they aren't compressing the cracks now!

Upped it to GCW but 7-zipped it as it's 25mb instead of a 35mb RAR which is over the 32mb per file threshold! Luckily WinRAR supports 7-zip archives!

WardoggOne 31-10-2007 12:09

fakelight and ftldox the same?

nando2002 31-10-2007 13:15

yes, they're the same.
You can see in the nfo: "FairLight DOX Division"

nando2002 03-11-2007 16:18

GCW has a new mini-image for the chinese version that works with the english version.
