Download the correct drivers for your card from the ATI site.

Then go to this page and scroll down to the Red Links (under the Software Installation title), choose which one applies to your card which is most likely 'Radeon'.
Then follow the guide to completely remove and reinstall the drivers.

thanks did as instructed still to no avail o woe is me will never be fixed i guess, will wait until i can rub to pennies together and buy it for ps2.

Camera Issues
 

I downloaded the Reloaded version of the Scarface - The world is yours PC Game. Everything works fine using DT 4 and all emulations on " if and only if i dont restart the game"
If i restart the game after a fresh install it gets to the load profile and then after my character spawns the Camera starts spinning and doesnt stop.

I assume this a copy protection issue with secureROM, I have the latest Daemon Tools and all latest hardware drivers, any help would be appreciated.

Also. I tried loading both with, and without, the crack exe file, and the game loads and operates with each but i still have the same issue with both .exe files

Sorry but i got really sleepy by reading all the posts. So what's the conclution to play this game i paid 50$ for this game and now i cant even play it man this sucks. Pardon my language. I have a P4 3,2Ghz with 2,5Gb memory, Sound blaser audigy 2 and a Sapphire Radeon X1600 pro 512Mb graphic card and i cant even play it on the lowest resolution because it crashes all the time. So plz if there gonna be any patches or fixes uppload it plz.:(

bob_g after you uninstall your drivers from add/remove or from device manager I might suggest also using Driver Cleaner. It often catches leftover .dll's etc, laying around that can cause some conflicts on new installs.

Unplugged my MS old skool joypad and joystick and it ran fine with the crack. But I heard about problems with creative sound blaster cards and sure enough after great quad sound in the intro, I get in game and the sound dies, when the movie cuts come up it works, get in game in stops.

So you pay for a movie tie in and you get butt fked due to lack of testing because the fat cats want it rushed out to be inline with the DVD release. Nice :(

hi, its been a long time away for me, but now i have a strange and very **cking problem with Scarface...
I bought that game and installed it like i did it with other games 1000times... i got my fixed exe from GCW, everything fine...
except i cant see my game-pause-menu... when i hit escape in-game, there are all the options, but when i try to change for ex. my keysettings i cant see anything. There is only the bar and sometimes some numb3rs i can change, like the displaysize...i have the german version, when i try it with the original dvd it works fine o_O is it the (english)exe?

This is a general, meaningless Windows error message. Read the forum FAQ on solving gaming problems AND reporting problems properly.

It's a meaningless fault, but I keep getting it every single time I start the game, didn't get any further than this.

1. Like Joe has said before, Read the FAQ (you will find the link in Joes signature)
2. If the FAQ doesnt help you then contact the game publisher (it is their problem not ours).
3. Do not Bump!!

have you updated your drivers? Get yourself ALL driver you can find, like
directX, sound, graphics, mainboard, chipset..just everything. Why not check the firmware of your HDDs and CD/DVD drives?
I had trouble with outdatet driver several times, so its worth trying.
