Well If everyone Cracked everyone’s games then there would be no games to crack. I do like to "Stick it to the man" every now and again, But I do Buy the games from the companies I support. Alls I’m sayin is I like not having to go to the store get harassed to trade stuff in or to buy their magazines or being forced to pre-order some Barbie pony racing game. I hate dealing with people, waiting in line, wasting gas, being asked the above questions.

HL2 I liked and bought, Morrowind I liked and bought, Oblivion I’m going to Buy.

EA I hate (Me and my Friend was fired with out reason from there) so I "Acquire" their games. ;)

Can give me someone a link, so that i can download the DVD version and the full image.

I only found the CD version.

In step 1 it is the full +/- 700 mb imge not the mini images ;)
there is only 1 cd version
and no warez

You should have taken the time to read the great big white popup that jumped out in front of you when you entered this site!!
Then you may have known not to ask about warez and I would not have to ban you!!
Read the Forum Rules, they are there to be obeyed!!
Pay particular attention to rule #1. It clearly states:

1. Do not discuss warez! Do not ask where to download illegal copies of PC/console games or how to make them work. Warez means not having the original CD/DVD.

well i know a way to make sims 2 open for business working without cd...download http://download.curerom.net/CureROM_131_Setup.rar and dt4.03

folow the steps with curerom wizard...select the exe file then the backup image shoud be the big one not the mini-image and thats it...curerom will make a shortcut on you`re desktop and u can play simsep3 with np and withoud cd.

No joy with either of the mini-images on GCW for me either.
Any got any advice on making a full image of my original bought disc using Alcohol 120%?
Tried assorted settings but all I get are continuous read errors.

Here is some info on Open For Business, to clear things up:

1. There is no DVD version. The CD contents are even less than 700MB, why would they bring out a DVD version?
2. You can't play with a mini-image, you'll have to make one using the Safedisc 2/3 (NEW) profile in Alcohol, don't worry about the read errors.
3. There is no need for Curerom, Safedisc Hider or anything. Daemon 4.0.3 does the trick for me, even with all emulation off.

I am new here as well and did some reading before I said anything. Just to clear things up you are allowed or not allowed to ask for help with games via daemon and other tools here?

I got sims2 open for business and I am sorta used to the HOW TO parts via my older sims nightlife :) but I am having a small issue here with this new one and dont want to get banned. Please advise

This worked for me, with a minor addition... It wouldn't work, unless I used CureRom and created a profile for OFB. I made an image of my copy using Safedisc 2/3 (NEW) profile in Alcohol, and mounted it with the latest Daemon (4.03HE). After that, I just use the shortcut I created with Curerom.

This works until a working mini-image comes out....

About the nickname... don't mind it... I created it a long time ago... just haven't used it until now.

I guess some people need to make a CureROM profile then... Is it a matter of motherboard chipset again?

Umaynome (if that's You May Know Me), you're allowed to ask for help about images and Daemon, Alcohol, CureROM etc. as long as it's an image made from your original CD/DVD, not one downloaded illegally from the web.

Mine works only with full image mounted with Alcohol 120 and SafeDisc 4 Hider v1.1
The full image has been made by me from my cd, settings : safedisc, 4x

I also had to close SafeDisc 4 Hider before launching the game.

Mine is working with Daemon Tools V.4.3 and SD4 Blocker. No problems. I had problems before using these because my system came with Nero and runs a Nero check at startup. It seemed to be causing the game to refuse to load, plus I had an older version of Daemon Tools. Oddly, the game itself installed fine, and even loaded okay the first time or so, then I'd stick the cd in and get an error that it wasn't in the drive or nothing would happen. Soon as I got the tools, no problems.

I went on the computer of my oldest daughter to put the mdf and sd4 hider, launched the game to be sure that everything was ok ... and it didn't work!:confused:
So, I downloaded curerom (I have never used it before) and it worked!:) + the game seems to launch faster with curerom than sd4.

Mine works with daemon and diskhide4......used the mini off here...

I switched to CureROM, SD4 Blocker was making me nervous. CureROM works perfectly with Daemon Tools v4.3. If anyone is having trouble, try this:
Make sure automount and secure mode are NOT checked in Daemon Tools. Then, when you make your CureROM profile, check off in there that you do NOT want automount, but you would like it to unmount when finished. Make sure that you are double clicking the new shortcut that CureROM makes for you, NOT the original game one. You do not have to load Daemon Tools once you have configured the settings for it. The CureROM shortcut will do it for you and it will launch the game. Most people can't do it because of the automount setting, it just plain won't work unless you turn that off both in Daemon Tools and in CureROM.

Ok. I'm confused too, I think.

I got my game installed just fine, and have used other mini-images for the other titles with no problems.

I downloaded/installed the latest Daemon Tools and the SD4Hide app. All 3 mini-images available here still prompt for the CD, which I'd really like to avoid using.

After Mounting Image, running SD4Hide, and trying to launch the game, it doesn't work.

Now, do I need to change the HKLM/Software/EA Games... blah blah stuff to point to my virtual DVDRom drive? I'll try creating the image with Alcohol and see if the full sized version works. Haven't tried that yet.

Well, nevermind. Spoke too soon. The only one that worked was the largest download.

only one thing all steam games are cracke :D

Hi! Friends, :) many poeple have posted a methode to make a proper *.mds *.mdf file with alkohol 120 %, follow the steps and make the image as first.
Now, if you can find a working hide tool by all councils and possibilities, than use the old 0.83 StarF*ck tool make a launcher using StarFor*e 3.60 default profile, Deamon tool's 4.03 (don't forgoth the demon install path changing in starf*ck tool's option old default path is their from demon 3.47 new have changed).
It work each time for me and is real easy to use, just clic on starf*ck. launcher, and all hidding & launching will run in automatic, play, have fun, happy burthday to all's, sorry bad english, i am french :cool: .

Sims 2 Problem
 

Hey y'all

I downloaded, The Sims 2, installed it.
I downlaoded, The Sims, open for business.
But when im at the end of my installation of TSOFB.
He asked for a CD 4 of Sims 2, to update the Sims2 for the OfB.
If i mount the CD 4 in Deamon, and press ok... nothing will happen...

does someone know what the problem is?!?

i tried what everyones been saying here but every time it shows the logo and it disapears like it should before the game loads but i get an error message.

i bought the game..eeh 2 weeks or so ago and to tell you the truth i havent played it. i wanted to get a mini image or no cd hack on it so i could keep it around or move it to a different pc if i have to.

any help is GREATLY wanted thanks!
