There are two additional cars and some vinyls etc. in the Black Edition aswell.

Im told thats False, the tweaked BMW and custom American car are in the normal 4cdr version, the Black's dvd doesnt add anything onto game (so im told and i read on multi thread).

I cant prove as i not got far enough to see these cars yet as im not playing it 100% just messing about for now.

talkin about the extra dvd is like getting an extra sticker for the bumper of your car who gives a **** does it in anyway affect the game NO lol

so you say the "crack" enables you to play the game off a burnt cdr...? have you ever downloaded it and read the info file that comes with it? it cleary says "MOUNT the image and you can play the game without using any hide programs" and THIS does the file NOT do.

maybe with the exe its possible to play it with daemon tools 3.47?? didnt start for me with that one, only does with 4er and sd4hide. can live with that, crk would be better though.

I will be polite, this crack in a total JOKE, it gains me nothing, infact i cant even run the damn game with it, id rather use my 1.2 version not 1.0 non working crack esp as you still need cd1, its a lot of rubbish about antiblaxx cause i dont even use it anyhow there is no need.

eazy to know, use an hexeditor open all two files "fake cracked non fixed.exe" and "original.exe", use the difference search fonction & found difference: nothing.:D

The Fixed EXE has been removed because it's the same EXE as the original... and it is not even april fools...

Hello there people! I have NFS MW 4 CD version and i play like this: Made a image of CD1, mounted in DT4, run sd4hide, them guess what?!... play the game, till can stand no more the soundtrack "Hush - Fired up" (and that i whont). Just need to lay back for some few days to free HDD space with NO-CD, till then... i wont leave my WV-GTi.

Thats the exact method that worked for me, I tried using various mixes of sd4hide, anti-blaxx, alcohol and DT4 and the only setup that worked for me was to disable my virtual drives in Alcohol and then use dt4 with sd4hide. I'll be waiting patiently for a crack, but this will do.

I've downloaded the NFS Most Wanted, and i Don't find a NOCD crack.
i understood that there is a FIX CD on the WEB, can someone please help me get it working? I'll be gratefull. :confused: :confused:

I have to confirm that the FIX not no CD crack is working on 1.2 without any extra tools to hide IDE, it's not so stable and sometimes it needs restart to work but for me I'm happy coz I don't want to install any of those tools that hide IDE and miss with my CD/DVD devices.

i also own the black edition and for me this file did not work in ANY way.

If you compare the 'fixed' and original EXE then just ZERO those differences out in a Hex Editor it makes no difference to the execution of the EXE, so it looks like it's just full of junk.

If you look at some docs on the PE Format whatever they changed doesn't seem to affect the structure of the file!

Hello there people! Them!!!! Why are you "guys" so waried about that 'n that "exe" file?! Let it go if it doesnt work, couse if you realy bought the game and want a NO-CD, wait! and ho yes, i allmost forgot, for does people who say that the black version has an exclusive this 'n that, whell.... i have 4 CD version and guess what, i have does cars ('67 camaro and BMW M3 all tuned 'n ready to run on the streets) and the "some" of others "exclusive". OVER! :)

Got NFS MW Black Edition and i say "NOT WORKING"

Edit: ...ahh, its been removed, nice ;-)

PC version of Black Edition, dont ship till 25th so i let you decide if its a downlaod or not, i got the 4cdr legit game on 17th all cars are there only extras on dvd thats nothing to do with game is there, i didnt really want to wait till 25th or buy both and i would prob never watch all crap on the dvd anyhow, i too can confirm the tuned BMW and American custom car are there.

Thanks jhuk for the support, so people will see that they have being waiting for 25th for usless things.

So let me get this strait, I have Need for Speed: Most Wanted CD1 mounted with Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools 4.0 and then I use a program such as SD4hide to hide the mounted image and I should be able to run the game fine just by clicking on the desktop icon for NFS. Tnx

Yep, thats it.

I made an mds file of my first CD with alcohol 120%. When I mount it with Daemon tools and use safedisk 4 hider I cannot run the game.

I can get through the cd protection (don't get enter cd rom blah blah...) then my screen gets black for a short time and then I get prompted back into Windows.... It's like the game crashes or something.

I Also tryed the mds file posted on GCW but I get the same problem.


Does anyone have this too? Is there a way around this?

Anyway this game rocks like hell. I really would love to have a working backup... i'll wait on a working cd crack :)

Seemingly there is a fix floating about to help with people having problems with the protection.


EDIT: Seemingly part 2 its a no-cd, I dont have the game to test the exe so ive upped it to GCW expect to see it soon.

Different Problem
 

I have actually noticed a slight different problem. I did what I said just mounting the CD1 image and then hiding it, and i click the icon for NFWMS but the Need for Speed game picture will come up for a second and then dissapear and the game wont start. Has anyone seen anything like this? Tnx

No-one knows! It could take days, weeks, months, years or possibly never! Time will tell and patience is what you need. ;)

The new NODVD patch(s) here work for me no probs but even though file is really a tiny filled with lots of ZERO's it still appears 1.6+ gig to windows so im better of leaving my cd1 image i made in daemon as its smaller lol.

but you can compress that file to 1.23 mb(size on disk)...right click on the NFSMW-MINI.mdf and click Advanced >>>tick compress contents.....>>>OK>>>Apply>>>OK
restart windows and remount NFSMW image;)

well i can live with normal full size image and the speed_loader.exe file available on GCW (its like sd4hide customized for use with nfsmw - does automatically hide drives, start speed.exe and afterwards restores them.... kinda senseless if you use sd4hide but comfortable :D :D )

Hello, Can someone help me?

This are the steps what i did,

- Installed the game
- Then i used sd4hide, and switch it on hide,
- The i used deamon 400
- Mount the image NFSMW-MINI.MDS that i downloaded from GCW
- Then i get a page whith some files
- Cliked the page away
- then I start the game, bij clicking on the original icone.

But it doesnt work, am i doing this right, or did I mist a step?

my prob is::mad:
i got 4 burned nfsmw cds, installed the game. then i used sd4hide, i made an img file with alcohol. loaded the image, switched on sd4hide and clicked hide. when i start nfs then, there comes no message with put in cd bla bla bla. so far so good^^ but then a window from windows(xp) appears and ask me if i want send the error message to microsoft or not... and then nothing more... game doesnt start... any1 knows what the problem is???
