I Can't Run The BattleFront II..... :( the game need the DVD to run....

Somebody help ? Somebody have the crack 100% OK to run this game ?

First, try running the game from the original DVD. If that works, install Daemon Tools and/or Alcohol 120% and try running the game with a mounted image. If SR7.Stop says it has nothing to hide then neither Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% is installed on your machine (or it/they is/are installed but its/their registry entries are thoroughly messed up so it/they won't work anyway).

I actually had it working for a while with Daemon Tools. But it's not working anymore. It doesn't crash like it did when I wasn't doing everything properly, instead it launches the SW Battlefront 2 window, waits a few seconds, then launches a second window called "FATAL". After that, the game doesn't start anymore. I haven't changed any settings and I've been doing things exactly the same as always. Can anyone please explain what has happened?

It Works!

Download CloneCD
Make a Image File using the Protected CD function and creating a cue sheet.
Download Daemon Tools v4
Mount the image
Turn on all emulations
Disable all other cd/dvd drives
Play Game!

One thing Im wondering is where the windows 2000 compatibility mode option is? Iam using windows 2000 is this an option only in xp?

wolf85 21-11-2005 17:10

Hey again. I got it working on my second and 3rd comp. I guess I just messed up my first one. Ill try reinstalling widows and trying again.

Like I said, I had it working...and for some reason, it stopped working. But now it doesn't freeze up anymore, instead a window called "fatal" came up. So, my question had nothing to do with how to make it run by mounting the image, but rather "what is the signifigance of the fatal window?"

This could be due to a few things, either messed up registry keys, messed up game files, or something to do with the computer's graphics. Usually when you see this, you have to reinstall the game. You also have to be very careful when using programs that can damage your system.

Mounting the image and disabling the physical cd/dvd drives works very well. The registry edits may have been patched by microsoft.

It's very nice of you to try to help but that post was made 3 years ago. ;)
