Ok, so I went to gcw, and saw a nocd for this game, and installed it, but the game still asks for the cd. Whats up with that? Can someone else please confirm that it's not only me?

That is normal, since the so-called No-CD file on GCW is identical to the original exe.

I sent the file to GCW, however I stated that I had not tested it, it was found on another website that supplies no cd cracks....

sorry if it doesn't work but I don't have the game, was just trying to help out those who do...

I would like to add that I have always found you (Cueball) to be very helpfull and I know that you would not intentionally mislead others. ;)

I forgot to add that it was unknown if it worked or not... it does not (not as nocd) so it has been killed...

I tried the one that Dabhand released, but it still asks me for the CD. So I mount CD 3 (Courses Disc) via daemon tools, then click the icon on desktop, it brings up logo twice and then a black screen but after that I see on my taskbar protection error. I dont know whats wrong on that but thats what I see, and it launches, just cant get into the game.

hello - this is my first post - i read all your comments and tried various things but just as I was going to give it up as a lost cause I got it to work!

I am using the latest deamon tools and i switched all emulators off - mounted the image file of the 3rd disc and hey presto its working.

Which image you talking about mouldy?

i downloaded it (as i lost my original disc naturally) and it was the image of disc 3 that i am refering to if that is any clearer than my last post ;)

I've tried mouldyeye's method on a image generated with Alcohol120%, deselected all options in the latest deamon tools mounted the image - Bingo! it works. Shame he/she didn't play by the rules:(

You mean, the trick to make the mini image, you created yourself from your own original CD, is to switch OFF all emulation options in Daemon Tools? Please, confirm, it might be worth adding to the FAQ as yet another idea...

Since I don't worry about hard disk space I actually made a full image of the Courses CD and mounted it with deamon tools and everthing turned off. And yes it works!

And this little bitch is running smooth like a baby.

You don't need SR Stop running in the background for this game...

It's a Safedisc4 game :) That is for Securom...

In any case you don't even need SD4 Hider either...

Just make a full image using Alcohol SD2\3 settings in the profile, set read speed to 8x if you wanna make absolutely certain you get a good image then mount it in DaemonTools 4.03 with no emulation of any kind.

I'm pretty sure you can mount it in alcohol too.

It would be easy to make a maxi image of this then delete most of the disc and compress it so it would shrink down to the size of a mini-image when compressed.

And it works.

I can upload one I've done that works if you like and its about 25mb compressed.

When i tried without securom stop the game shows me two time the tiger screen, then a black screen.. freezing there.... when i use securom, the game works...

Mine won't start if I DO use either SD4\SR drive hiders, even when closed after hiding the drives :confused:

I've been trying for days to make a backup of me courses disc, found out it was a scratch on the original cd, so instead of getting unreadable sectors from 800+ onwards. I was getting them from 275-300, didn't realise until I noticed that the original wasn't even working. Eventually after loads of Mr Sheen on the original disc managed to get it to read properly.

So if this was a StarForce game I'd have been screwed...

Can't think of a better reason for legally allowing backups of discs!!! :)

i have tried everything. Install with burned discs, install with dtool but none worked. When i try to close the emulations and mount cd3 i get the tiger screen blinking twice and then it gives me a windows error. It says that Tiger Woods pga tour 06 has occurred a problem and needs to close.

i want to play this game so plz help me

And it crashes with the original CD's, too? Read the FAQ for a list of some general fixes.

i got this full verison from the internet and i burned it. but to other people it works when they turn off emulations. how come it doesnt with me. Is there something wrong with my system, i dont have an adminstator it is only me and my brother, we both gets access to all files i donno whats the problem here but plz help

hmm, I seem to be having similar problems to others in that I can't get this game to run. I've tried mounting disc 3 as an image with daemon (v4.03) and also tried mounting the no-cd/fixed image from GCW. When I try the no-cd, I get an error message telling me to insert the courses disc. When I try mounting the disc 3 image, the opening TW2006 window pops up, the machine thinks for half a second, the window disappears, and nothing else happens. I've tried mounting both with all emulations off, all emulations on, and just the safedisc option on. I get the same results, no matter what. Anybody have any suggestions?

Could someone upload and share the image to play without the cd's ? I've been trying to get one for a long time but i've never found one. I'd do a mini image myself but i have absolutely no clue how :/

maybe i extraced it wrong i will try again-could anyone show me exactly how to extract the no/cd to right place in a step by step way just in case i am doing it wrong.

unrar the rar file new folder.
you have to copi engine.dll and TW2006 into the BIN folder and say yes
to overwrite the old ones.
then it plays very well
