How does one create tdf files ?

Image habe ich von meiner Original DVD mit Alcohol erstellt. Dann das Image mit den Daemon Tools gemounted und vom image installiert (auf englisch). Danach habe ich mir Tetris und das *.tdf file von der angegebenen adresse gezogen. Die folgenden Schritte waren:

1.) Tetris ausführen und "Install Drivers" auswählen
2.) Neustart
3.) Tetris ausführen und "mount" anklicken. Im Browser das fahrenheit.tdf file auswählen.
4.) Fahrenheit gestartet.

Wenn es so bei dir nicht geht versuche einmal erst auf "disable" zu klicken (bei status "inactive" und dann wieder auf "enable". Bei mir wurder der status erst nach starten des spiels auf "active" gesetzt.

Ansonsten, welche Version benutzt du? Die deutsche oder eine internationale?
Ach ja, eins noch: Bitte alles weitere entweder hier auf englisch oder per PN auf deutsch, da die Forensprache englisch ist!

It works for me with the method described in the *.nfo file for the game. (I'm using the german dvd-version). Please respond only in englisch or talk to me via PM in german.

aber bei mir gibts das Prob. .klar.....brauch ich die dazu?....sonst den rest habe ich genau so gamacht....

I think it is time for you, guys, to learn English. If you can't, I'm sure there are many German forums; use those instead!

I have seen a new NO-DVD in database for this game but it doesn't work in my language(Italian). Only the other four language. I hope this file isn't a demo exe as happened for Secret of the lost Cavern of deviance. However the important thing is playing altough in English. I would not return to the beginnig after some scenes

Same here. All languages but not Italian, while original dvd has 5 languages selection (instead of 4 of this tdf file).

I hope a fix coming soon !!

Guys,

When i run the tetriscpl.exe and press "Install Driver", it fails with the message "Driver access error. Make sure you logged with Administrator's rights".

While using the administrator account.

I'm stuck, any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

Try to use a clean boot (without firewall, antivirus software, etc.). This can be done by either disabling the software in the windows autostart sequence or starting your system in protected mode.

If the message still appears a reinstallation of your drivers might help.

I did try running it in safe mode but it still failed.

I managed to install it, though. For anyone that has the same problem or if a member of the Tetris team is reading this, this is what i did:

I deleted these registry keys:

I rebooted and the tetris driver installed.

The previous values of the keys were:
LowerFilters - "Cdr4_2K"
UpperFilters - "Cdralw2k"

What about the no-dvd ..... didn't work for me .... the game starts with the DVD.

I've followed the steps to get the no-DVD to work but it still tells me to insert the DVD.

I installed the driver fine and reinstalled and it tells me the driver is installed in the status part. Then I go to mount and select Fahrenheit.tdf and then try to open the game. Is there anything I might have overlooked since I haven't used Tetriscpl before?

You still need either a backup or your dvd in your local drive or an image from the original dvd mounted with the daemon tools. Try to use the autoplay option for your dvd-drive (or virtual drive).

German: Ach sry aber ich hasse Englisch..also da hat jemand gesagt er hat ein NO DVD CRACK gefunden, den suche ich...dieses Image läuft bei mir net.....

Das Image muss in DT oder A120% gemountet sein und dazu noch das tdf in Tetris! Danach das Spiel ganz nochmal starten.

And how an user before me said, this crack doesn't work with the italian version of the game. Now, i know that making cracks is not so simply as it seems, but i think could be also simply making a crack for ALL the languages.

Come on, if you (in general) make a .tdf image of a game, do it from the multilanguage version of the game!!!

Sometimes i think this could be a possible kind of racism...(just kidding guys)

Do you think there will be a remote possibility to see a fix to this image? Obviously, for playing the game in italian.

Anyway, and this is the last thing, in a future i'm going to have it original...

In english please ...

1. Mount the Fahrenheit Image with Daemon Tools/A120%.
2. Mount the tdf with Tetris.
3. Play.

The point is that you need to have both tetris tdf image and game image mounted, otherwise you have to keep the disc into the drive. It's a strange way to bypass copyprotections, similar to Ultima's works on Colin 2005 (so now don't accuse me of downloading games I've only read about it!!! :D ).
Seems in the future we'll not see no-cd\dvd crackz anymore, so better save money for a half-dozen drives to buy in the next 2 years :D :D :D
However, better to have tetris drivers running onto my pc than starforce (securom?) virus ones!!!

No Problem , then burn the image to a DVD-R or RW and you don't need the image anymore.

It seems that you can use a backup Disc + Tetris to play.
But Tetris needs a Disc OR Image and the twinsector file .tdf.

Still has a problem. I don't have DVD Rom :)

well works here too,,i made an image with alcohol (german version of the game) in an older ricoh burner and installed tetris rebooted, mounted the image in d-tools and it seems to work even without mounting the tdf ? i tried it with and without the tdf but there doesnt seems to be a differents.well i heared tages contains triggers so i mount it anyhow just to be sure.

Did you mount a .mdf on tetris? I knew that i could mount only .tdf images!

well sorry it seems i was wrong about it,i just rebooted my pc and it refused to run it came up with an error abou could not verify original disc or something like that.so i started tetris mounted the tdf and closed it then and the game worked again. It seems that tetris can be closed after mounting the file like daemon tools, it was that what confused me i thought it has to run in the background while playing.

How can I make an image of those 44 files i have downloaded?

Uhm, how many warez kiddies are there? I can't even count them....mmmmmm, one who want to play a dvd without a dvd-drive but worrying about protection and one another who worries about the packaging of its fresh new downloaded iso!!!!

Would be nice if someone could upload a mini-image for the game if possible...
I'm a notebook user and do not have much harddrive capacatiy.
A standard image is too large...
I'm often playing in train etc. and don't like to take my playdiscs with me.
