Is the mini-image necessary? I use my full image from Alc120% and it seems to work. Daemon-Tools and Anti-Blaxx installed.

Hi im new to forum, anyway i just wanna say that ive tried all the mini/fixed images and none work, only cracks work for me and so if anyone can make them i would really much appreciate it if ya could, obviously not until the latest patch is out.

Cracked Exe's Will not function online in punkbuster protected games as it checks the exe regulary and if it's modified you are perm banned your self from all punkbuster servers so don't bother using cracked exes with pb

Ok guy's first post so go easy.....I've tried to get this game running but to no avail ...I've tried mounting a mini image but no change ..tried all the no cd cracked but keep getting this message
this application failed to start because .dll was not found re-installing this application may fix this problem

Battlefield 2

Do the following:

1. Uninstall the game.
2. Reinstall BF2.
3. Update (patch) it to version 1.02.
4. Download & install the latest version of "GameJack 5 (5.0.4.1)".
5. Use the GameStarter-function of this program to start the game with original EXE without DVD in drive! THERE IS NO CRACK NEEDED!

did all that but it still won't start ..it goes to battlefield screen and then total black screen as if its just about to start but then returns to desktop

also I've tried runnimg the new patch but it just freezes up the system ?....where and and when and with what should i start the patch 1.02

thanks in advance

MontyBurns1985 20-09-2005 04:34

What do you mean with "Where, when and with what should I start the patch 1.02?" When you start the patch (EXE-FILE) it normally should install itself! So in your case the patch does not sucessfully install itself or what dou you mean? Does version 1.0 work for you?
There is a new version of "GameJack 5" (5.0.4.1) out now since yesterday.
But first of all I would try to create a FULL-IMAGE of the DVD with the version, you've installed and try to run this IMAGE in the Virtual Drive.

If this also does not help, update the driver of your graphics card!

By the way, both methods (GameStarter & IMAGE) with this program work fine for me for version 1.0 and 1.02.

Contact EA for help getting the game running before using images.

This can also happen if your system does not meet the requirements for BF2, try running EasyInfo - should be supplied with the game - to check whether you meet the games requirements.

Need to ditch these mini images and go back to the n0 cd cracks. There were no use for any version of any burner program or anything that u had to mount anything. If the crack was made right then nobody had any problems ever with them. It was a simply job of moving the files and that was it. 2nd of all the mini image requires you to either buy the cd-r burning program like Alcohol 120% which if u have a nocd crack you wouldn't need to or you would have to download it without paying for it which is warez which is not allowed or suggested that u tell peeps to do this.

Bring back the NoCD cracks!!

i also have the problem of when you start battlefield 2 up it goes to a black screen for a few seconds and then jumps back to the desktop screen, can anyone suggest anything i can try to get it to work. And by the way what is a mini image? those are my specs:

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
512MB RAM
Intel(R) 82865G Graphics controller

And yes i have tried the refresh rate thing.
