Uhm, please, be kind to and patient with people actually making no-CD patches: if they get annoyed, you may not get another no-CD from them! :(

I would really be happy when a crack is made for this because I am really getting tired of restarting my computer every other time I play this. Thanks in advance.

ok... so there is no crack for 2.10427 yet but maybe there's some mini Virtual CD or somethin like that, I searched for an hour for that and i havent found it, but maybe you people will have better luck. can anyone look for either a crack or a mini virtual cd?

Whats the ETA for the crack, does any1 know? Not that i want to rush the crackers or anythin'. its just that i want to know when to look the crack up cuz im tired of checking it on a daily basis

I had a crack you guys probally already have, but it would always go to the menu once I loaded to a certain point, it was the part where you get of the Harbinger and go through the fuel lines, after you go up the ramp and destroy the four droids you have to use the turbolift, but mine freezes and goes to the menu then, any one know why? And if why how I can fix it?

THAT would simply be the best, as we would need no cracks at all. I have searched too, but not found anything... :(

Just posting to say that I too am eagerly waiting for someone with more skills than myself to crack this game.

Does anyone have any info on when (or if) Raven is going to release another patch? Maybe someone will make a crack for that one since this version will obviously remain uncracked (it's been how long now?)

I don't think a more recent crack will be any easier to crack, so I guess we'll have to wait until someone managed to crack this one.

Posts like the previous four have no sense anyway; pretty much noone on this forum does cracking so pretty much noone knows if and when anything for any game will be released.

I honestly don't think anyone is going to bother cracking the update, otherwise it would have happened by now.

I'll just play it unpatched (or patched, but with the old NoCD fix. I understand that DOES work, more or less) I can't stand using my originals in the drive all the time. I don't worry so much about the disk (never had one get damaged by a drive), I worry more about my drive wearing out from spinning a disk all the time.

Oh well, maybe I'll start playing it again....may as well start over since it's been awhile since I played it last.

Nope, no mini-image is available, but if Rayder were feeling up to it, he could use his original disk to make one, and his drive would then take less strain, and the rest of us would have a solution to this crack problem... not really an issue for me anymore, cause I was getting this crack for my little bro, who's already beaten the game lol :P

I'm new on this forum.
But i found way to play KOTOR 2 on the newest patch.
You need to get BWClone CD1 image released by Pynt (eDonkey Network, remind emule is a client). And burn it in BlindWrite 5.2.16.154 with 8x speed! Next you have to turn on hide ATIP function (i used alcohol to do it). This cd will work fine. Be sure that BlindWrite will use BWS file (at the first time it hasn't used). Don't worry about UK version of this image, it work fine for US version too. Nice playing.

What your are suggesting is deemed WAREZ and is against forum rules, and being 'new on this forum', you have obviously never read them! If you OWN the game there is no NEED to download a BWClone as you can make your own mini-image without needing a full CD!

Please read the RULES!

What happend for such delay.
And would mini-images work instead?

sorry, it's just I don't like using the cd, and without the crack for the new version my game freezes every time a movie came, it goes black. I'm waiting for 6 months for the crack. So sorry about rule break, but i'm really desperate please!!!!

I have DL'ed this sometime ago... not much to be jumpt at... the movies look somewhat better but I really love the music sa it is finally multi channel!

...and yeah, we really could use a fixx right about now as there will probably be no more updates to this game...

If there is no crack by now, there's slim to no chance one is going to be forthcoming anytime soon and asking the same thing over and over isn't going to make one appear and it's one way to get this thread closed!

To tell ya the truth, I don't even remember what the patch was supposed to fix. The V1.0 with the NoCD crack on it was working fine for me...never crashed or locked up and nothing seemed wacky or anything....

I should probably just play it that way. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ;)

Did the patch fix any story issues or anything really critical that makes it really that important to have it? Guess I should search.... :rolleyes:

Shouldn't the thread be closed anyway? A patch isn't forthcoming which making it sort of pointless.

@DryRiver: Stop whining; crackers don't visit this forum and, even if they did, they wouldn't hurry themselves with satisfying your request anyway...

I tested a bit the last days... and there's a way to play without No-CD-crack.

Use the lastest Blindwrite to obtain an image file of the first CD. You should receive four files with these endings: BWA, BWI, BWS and BWT.
Then get DaemonTools latest version, install and mount the .BWT-file in the virtual Rom-drive with all emulation options enabled.

Game works with the copy-protection in the .exe, patched up to the newest version. I also got the new patch for HQ-movies and music installed.

Still the game is terribly buggy so save often. At least ATI fixed performance on Dantooine.

The funny thing is: Normally you should be able to update the game and play it with the old No-CD-crack... made no difference so far. So... there's not even a need for someone making a newer fix...

now im confused do you use blindwrite to create these files or do you have to some how obtain these file from where ever how do you get the BWA, BWI,BWS and BWT. Did you mean to say Use the lastest Blindwrite -and- (instead of -to-) obtain an image file of the first CD.

Yes. Create an image using BlindWrite and it should create those files as part of the image. Then use D-Tools to mount it.

(-----------------------:confused: I should have said this before. i used BlindWrite read mode to create a iso image. there were two files created. 1 file called kotor2_1 (BlindWrite 5 image-b5i- 1kb= 848bytes in size)
and a ultra iso image, same name, 666,156kb=650mb in size. I mount the b5i image with deamon tool and it says invalid image. I mount the ultra iso image that BlindWrite created and it dose the same thing as my other image and backedup cd, incorrect cd inserted. im using BlindWrite 5.2.23.156. There are only 3 option (1).read=(cd to c drive), (2).write= (c drive to cd) and (3).copy=( cdtocd). It cant be the copy option, it cant be the write option.Ive did the create iso image using BlindWrite read mode but there was no BW files any where. did i not do smoething or do i have the right tools. your help is very appreciated.

ok scracth all that i found blindwrite 4.something and created a iso with a bwi and a bwt file, but i still get a no cd flag when i mount them. Your help is still needed. help

I play the game by mounting a BW-created image into a virtual drive and using SecROM Stop 7.

Just to be clear im trying to get Starwars Kotor2 v1.0b, the latest update running

ok i got the bwi and the bwt files and i have sr7stop but im still recieving the wrong disk flag when i click the 1.0b exe and when i try to launch it with the mounted bw files, same flag. Help still is needed.

same problem here i have follow every step's and still its asking me for the cd .

but maybe i have to install movie and music patch first..

and when iam creating image with blindwrite its not giving me 4 image but only 2..
