After the patch,I finally got into playing it bug free mostly.......but had been using the CD,I didn't know it was being problematic to get a fix for.

All I know,is that I never could get an image of the play disc to work,and I ripped using every method known to the internet a month ago and gave up.

Ive since uninstalled it,I got bored with it anyway......the first one was
classic....this one is just buggy and the ending is....well...bad.

I hope BIOWARE gets involved with the next one.

Someone is on it now, to make a no-cd for the game. :eek:

Hopefully more than one person is working on it, just to make sure one comes out. But either way, I hope its out soon.

Not yet, i even stoped try do this!! i've this same bug on 3 computers!!i hope that the crack for patch will be relased cos i want to come to end of the game!

Does it crash when you use your original CDs?
If it does I doubt the crack will help, since it won't solve anything that the patch doesn't.
I too would like a crack, but since I liked the game a lot I had to bear using CDs or risk frequent crashes. :(

Yeah, that's really getting old, though. I really wish someone who has the knowledge to crack this game would do so.

when I try to update my Kotor2 1.00 to 1.00a I get a error, it can not replace manual.pdf in the docs folder. could some one of you guyes post the manual from your computer here so I can replace mine and update the game.

Patch Issues
 

Okay, you are basically trying to update US version by UK patch or vice versa... Try the International patch page if you are UK. Note that there is no way to tell US from UK. I think you have the US version and you should try to go straight for v1.0b :D

the thread fell all the to page 5. I guess a no-cd crack for this isn't a priority anymore :(

ok first i install the game and then i ran the game and after i create my player and go to first mission, after it loads the freezes and only black screen comes and the error comes with this code: 0xc0000005. Can anyone plz help me

0xc0000005 = memory exception error, either memory isn't there, or the memory isnt readable (or writable, depending on what the code was trying to do)...

possible symptoms ->

1. crack not designed for the os you're running on (some cracks only work on xp or higher)
2. bad crack
3. bad video drivers
4. bad system/user configuration
