It has nothing to do with the mini images or the patch. My original version is not working too. It quits after the intro with no error message. Windows application event log displays two errors, but there´s no hint to the real error. So it may be a problem caused by our systems (graphic driver, DirectX, Service Pack 2 dependency (I have SP 1 installed)).

hi, I have got this game working with the mini image and daemon tools
just wondering if anyone has had any success in playing online
some people must have as there are scores on the 'leaderboard' (not many though)

what happens is the game loads but then an egg timer icon appears and that's it
I think it shows up 'lost connection' on the other persons game

:D I've managed to get it working!! Yay!!

By using compatibility mode it seems to work now, the intro movies look a little weird but who cares :)

Mount the 8MB image with Daemon Tools (the small one doesn't work for me)
Go to the install folder, right click on the wsc2005.exe, go to the compatibility tab and choose Win98 and apply. No more CD :)

This is obviously for WinXP users :cool:

This version is impossibly hard. I played one player in qualifying, and he made 3 century breaks! I'm going back to '04.

nothing work for me...what´s wrong...

1. i copy the mini-image in teh game folder
2. mount the image with daemon tools
3. click the image on the desktop

then comes the message:

a cd/dvd emulation program was detected.........

Try un-installing Clone-CD and other emulation software..like Alcohol120% but NOT Daemon

why work the game on your pc and not on mine?

ive been using the mini-image but have reverted back to the cd as the mini image mounted on daemon tools kicks back to desktop everytime after you start a 3rd frame of snooker

how do i mount the image?? ive got the image put it into the Sega directory and have got daemon tools running

Firstly I'd like to say from reading all the posts everybody seems too be having problem's.
Ok, Uninstall All Virtual CD/DVD Software. Example:- CLONECD, Alcohol 120%.
Only install DAEMON TOOLS 3.47, Activate All CD Protection Tools So The Icon Tray Turns GREEN.
Then Mount The Image.! :)

The crack for snooker isn"t work.The mini image working with daemon tools v.347.For playing this game you must uninstall all cd emulators except daemon.(uninstall alcohol don't forget it).Also you must have all options on(safe disk e.t.c).After exit daemon tools with emulation options enable.start the gemke and play...

I have the same problem with an other game and i done format.I believe that you haven't unistall all the cd emulations but i don't now.When i unistall the cd emulators the game played.NOw i install again the alcohol 120% and the gtame still playing....

Has anyone figured out how to play online for longer than 10 mins. It seems to always cut out after this amount of time.

i dont get cd-emulation like that but the game gets crash when loading...any idea?

are there any tips or tricks.

it sucks to play 5 rounds of qualifying.....

there is a fine trainer at megegames...it works...

I see someone mention the program crashing.
I get this when playing online. The game shuts down in an instant.
Anyone else getting this?
I do notice a lot of player quitting the game while they play me. They can`t all have quit so I do think I`m not alone with this.
I can`t see a patch for this problem, in fact I can`t see a patch for the game at all.

menu problem
 

hi guys, i'm having major problems with the game and booting. After research and testing, the hoodlum no CD crack crashes out, so i looked at the images to mount with daemon.

After mounting either of the images avaliable on here the game boots up but i cant skip the opening movie at all, then when it gets to the menu its like someone is pressing the direction button to continulay make the menu go round and round.

so therefore i have to ctrl, alt & del to get out of the game because i cant do anything.

Does anyone know if there are any new cracks comming out soon? or a good solution to this prob?
