can someone help me? i did a new 1.10 install and added the hoodlum crack and the game starts up fine, but when i start a new game it shuts down and the crash log says

vampire caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module engine.dll at 001b:200f5967.

Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.

anyone know what the deal is?

Could try installing 1.2 update, Then Install Daemon Tools 3.42, Set Daemon To Emulate Safedisk v.4, Point Daemon to the Mini-Image.

who cares if it not works thats my problem. i dont like a game that do not run normal. it runs like one picture in ten seconds. everybody says that the patch can fix these problems. the patch only works with a 1.2 dll. i have installed the patch but i have no cracked 1.2 dll only you have one.

PS: are there no other ways i can play the game normal

Well you could always play using your original disc until a proper fix is released.

sorry but is it so dfficult to make an image and play?i applied the patch mounteed the image and nothing's wrong.plus as grumpy said(i think)just leave the original inside the cd-r.when i play from originalz i leave the cd inside for a month or more... :o

well with 1.2 patch on 1024x768 resolution on 2.5 athlon and a gforce 5700 256, 1024 ram the game isn't so fast......

NO i don't, thats what i've said TWICE now. no one has a cracked 1.2 dll yet.


actually, the patch creates a 1.2 dll for you, thats its purpose. as theres no 1.2 crack yet use your original games, or a mini image, or the 1.0 cracked dll as there are only a few problems left in the original dll, most of the things the patch fixes are elsewhere.

People here dont actually create the cracks! We just discuss them. There are obviously people who visit here that know how to make cracks but............! ;)

You must unlock your vertex bugger before to run the game. If it's already locked, the game cannot lock it. Under Windows XP, vertex buggers must always stay unlocked. :eek:

Can anyone tell me please from where can i download a crack for Vampire the bloodline? I have a problem with that game: when I try to play the game (cd 1 inserted in cd-rom) I receive the message (after aprox. 1 minute) to eject and reinsert the cd-1. I think that is a crack problem...

I'm running VMB with the no cd crack and i patched teh game with v 1.2 and it runs. no cd, no mini image; just my hardrive.

what im having a problem with is the game crashes as i get on the boat after i rescue Johanson, and activision claims to have fixed that problem with this patch.

Hmmm!! You are obviously using the earlier cracks even tho you have updated to 1.02? If you read the whole thread you would know that this does not in fact update the game! If you are using the earlier NoCD crack (whatever) the updating is pointless as you still have all the problems the update is meant to fix!! ;)

I messed up one of my files, its in the Bin folder, its called "launcher.dll" and i saw somewhere to change it to an .exe file but that completely messed everything up and now i cant turn it back into an Apllication Extension file, can someone please help me or post your launcher.dll file on the forum or email it to me at jordanwalker22. Nevermind I figured it out. But i have another question, since I can't play the game at all because of this update, how can i remove the update so i can at least play the messed up version. Thanks

Reinstalling the game should help you with both launcher.dll and getting back to the original, unpatched version.

there is now a v1.2 crack by ShadowCast
have download it and tried it on my patched 1.2 game and it works.
the dll file is different to the v1.0 hoodlum file, however i can not vouch that it is indeed a cracked 1.2 dll as i havent suffered from any problems that the 1.2 patch fixed so i cant tell the difference.

i will upload this to gamecopyworld so people can try it. please post feedback on whether it works or not
