well i could care less i dont even play the 200 games i have offline and theres only one game i might ever play online and it comes with the hdd when i buy it.

just tested it and it works ;) loads right up on my v9 and gave me the ids to gta vicecity even though its a off line game now we await the patcher then the fun begins :)

yep and i tryed with a backup to get the ids lol it wont work cause the ids is not there so this prog dose what it was said to :D

correct me if im wronge but in adding a id to a backup you will still need a mod to boot. and dnas checks system hardware so were screwed still?

I got banned from ownz because i chose to. Zima wanted me to pay him $350/month to advertise on his forum. $350 a month is nuts. Then he started getting an attitude with me and how im a freeloading newzer etc etc. This was about a month after i discontinued my advertising on his forum. I was paying $75 a month for a sticky. Then one day i get a message saying how krawl is going to buy me out, thus paying Zima $350/month. I did some research on Zima and found out im not the first one he has pulled this crap on. One night i snapped and told Zima what i think about him, and i got banned. So you see evoevo i chose to get banned, i dont need ownz anyway as im getting plenty of business from word of mouth and other forums. Also i would have expected you to bne a little nicer towards me since you were one of my customers. But oh well, ownz has you brainwashed.

Incase you havn't noticed EVO, I have been combining your threads. I am tired of your 1-3 minutes between posts when nobody has replied. You can express multiple thoughts in the same post.

Neither. They band the EEPROM it self. Each XBox has a unique EEPROM. This stores info such as region, S/N, HDD key and other stuff. And once thats banned it all over.

All though, you can install a new EEPROM with out to much trouble. And this will allow to get back on XBox Live with your XBox.

I've realized xbox has tunnel software, (XBCONNECT) ... so you don't need Xbox live to play, when you can use free software to play.
How come Playstation 2 doesn't have an tunnel software?

While we're on the topic of DNAS and trying to play backup games with it online: what happens if you accidentally try to play online with a backup - do you get banned from all PS2 servers forever? What if you forgot to turn your modchip off before you went online with the original, are you banned forever as well? What does being "banned" mean anyhow, no online play for every game, or just that one game you tried?

You can be banned if you forget to disable your mod, but it doesn't happen often. Your system id will be blacklisted allowing no online play at all on your system.

Really, I wasnt aware that they actually blacklisted you.

So let me get this straight, If i log on to Sony to play socom2 and my mod is on i will get banned? How true is this?

no cause if u log on with the mod on u wont even get on it will stop u b4 u get on with the dnas error and i never heard of any cases of sony banning u off line for good due to mods
