You did for Splinter Cell but in Freedom Fighters you ONLY have to do it when you boot the game. So that's pretty cool!

i tryed the trick cant get it to work it eather gose to mem card screen or stays at a black screen but the original plays fine in it with the mod off i will test this game out on a no solder with the ne cd loader cd then see if it boots looks like people r going to have to start makeing patchs just like they did on the ps1 seems more and more games comeing out that wont work due to the 2x TOC problem i will also wait for bighaps results aftr he trys it in his apple pro system even though i would h8 to think of paying another 100 bucks to get a new apple pro installed :(

And Freedom Fighters sucks anyway. Starts off fun but then - takes a big ass dive.

Interesting. Must be a better clone or have different code than the magic 3.1 has, as it doesn't get around the v7 double protection check.

Any game where you overthrow the government is okay in my book. I really like the ability to command your own guerrilla army too.

Yea but the Squad commands are sooooooo limited. I'd like for a group to JUST follow me but theres NO command for that. MANY times theyll run out guns blazing even though I've told them to form on me, which only makes them run back but doesnt keep them from running back out. DEFEND HERE doesnt work because theyll STAY there. :/

Less Tactics
 

The game is more of an arcade shooter then a squad base tech game. It is more for the go in guns ablazing crowd. This game wouldn't appeal to the Rainbow six or Roque spear expert. As I can see by some of the replys.

I see what you're saying but many of the maps I've finished already, I was only able to finish by using sneak attacks and the tactics they give you. It is still handy to send in someone before you to scout the area. While it may be somewhat limited, I think this game has got some pretty good gameplay.
