Me neither.
I have never had to disable anything in XP & have used Easy Cd Creator & Nero with no problems at all. Even burning ISO's. CloneCD has functioned fine too. I have installed alot of cd writers under XP & have never had this problem with ISO's on them either. Regards, Einstein |
But i must say that easy cd creator and Adaptec whatever have knwon to give problems

you gentleman are right about NOT having to disable the burning aspect of XP.. it does not need to be done.. i only mentioned it because TUNA was having such a hard time with making an ISO of the 1 CD.. no others.. just that one.. i still think he's tryin to iso a game with SD2 on it and not just a bunch of files on a disk.. of course i could be wrong on that part to.. i dont ISO cd's with JUST files on them.. there just is no need...
Another thing to think about Tuna is simply trying another type/brand of CD.. that is just something to try.. and your not trying to make an ISO from a CDR-W are you??.. i have never tried that.. but.. again.. just something to think about.. it might not work with a CDR-W...??? |
so when you try and rip from a cd, it keeps whirring and whirring, but never reads data. would these happen to be protected cd's? because this sounds EXACTLY like what happens when you try and image a safedisc cd with shitty software.
also, i have windows xp, and i never had an issue with it and burning using 3rd party apps. of course, maybe the bootleg version is to blame. all in all, i think bionic should fdisk his hd, format it nfts and install xp pro. no probs here :)........yet |
music too?
