VERY WELL EXPLAIN
|
Hey andex..... I forgot to even answer the previos post.... LOL:p
"How much would a new laser cost?" I think (not quite sure) its between $60-$80...(US) Maybe someone else can be a little more specific since I haven't had to buy one... |
The last time I hear (not sure) is around £20.00-£25.00 but personally I would get a brand new v5 and is a lot easy to chip them.
Question: Is the laser replacement compatible with all version since I haven open the v3 board??? |
Not exactly sure I fully understand your question BUT i will give it a shot.....
If you mean, "Are the lasers version specific?" Some versions are... I'll do some research to find out exactly which ones...... If you mean, "Is it rec. or required to fit a new laser while you chip a V3?" No..... It really just depends on the shape of the laser... A friend of mine has a V3 that I wouldn't even think about changing the laser in if I was going to chip it.... (Mainly because it probably only has MAYBE 10-15 hrs on it.... He never plays it)... If this didn't answer your question.... Post again and maybe I'll get it right the next time.... LOL :p |
Thanks BG fully understand.....LOL;)
|
By the way BG did u even run through this problem:
Read my thread Faulty messiah chip Been asking Charlie the same question. |
I haven't run into the problem you mentioned.
As a matter of fact THE ONLY problem I have EVER ran into with my Messiah is that PS1 originals and backups play in black and white....(But I know how to fix that now).... Other than that ZERO problems......... If you find that its not a wiring problem it could very well be a FAULTY CHIP (EXTREMELY RARE) but possible... Keep us posted on what you find.... |
