i installed Divine Divinity German - safedisk 2.60 loader works fine.

but DD isn't stable without the path under winxp, so i install the patch for DD.

DD has now safedisk 2.70 and the loader doesn't work anymore :(

"Even when i execute the No-CD Loader, the game still asks for the CD !
The Loader only bypasses the Safedisc CD-Check. Some additional cd-checks could be implemented in the game code. A backup cd (written with Nero or another burning program) should be enough to run the game."
yes, Civilization III has some additional CD-Checks.

btw, the Method of API Stuff Decryption option is only important for SD 2.40.1x and 2.51.2x protected games having API stuff. For all other versions, this option does nothing !!!

the loader should work with all versions protected with Safedisc 2.70.30 (it's a generic loader), so it will not work with the latest 1.31...

Just got Links 2003, has an exe called rukshuk.exe that has safedisc 2.60.52, anything I can do with that puppy? I can get the disk copied, installed, but when it does cd check it crashes out.

it is created for Divine Divinity, but there's only a small modification required to work with Age Of Wonders 2 (aow2.exe instead of div.exe ;) )...

they can be cloned with a lite-on, but you have to use DiscDump instead of CloneCD...

SD2Cleaner looks for the SD string "BoG_ *90.0&!! Yy>" but the loader only checks if the entrypoint refers to Safedisc code.

do you get the typical "Please insert the correct CD-ROM ........" message when you run the div.exe ?
